Abstract

Garbage is a living thing with human life, almost all human activities produce waste. This waste itself is generated from residents who are in the Sukasirna Village community. However, if the waste management is managed properly and properly by utilizing qualified resources, it will generate income for the manager. Waste management managed by the Waste Bank has not been maximized. Community service by providing counseling on how to manage waste, both organic and inorganic waste optimally so that the waste produced is not only a source of environmental problems but can generate income. .Solutions are given to service partners by conducting discussion activities by sharing information and asking questions about the problems they face boldly. The techniques used in community service are as follows: a, direct observation, namely visiting partner locations, b. carry out community service with an education system and question and answer regarding the management of organic waste and inorganic waste, c. provide skills in managing organic and inorganic waste, d. conduct and share together to find an agreement in waste management so that it does not become a problem for the environment. The output targets to be achieved in this service evaluation are as follows: a. people who have skills, b. product worthy of high price from waste raw materials.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh investasi penanaman modal dalam negeri dan investasi penanaman modal asing Terhadap Pertumbuhan Ekonomi Di Provinsi Nusa Tenggara Barat Pada Periode Tahun 2012-2023. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah jenis penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif dengan teknik analisis regresi data panel menggunakan Software Eviews 10. Data yang digunakan adalah data sekunder yang diambil dari Badan Pusat Statistik Provinsi Nusa Tenggara Barat. Dengan tehnik pengumpulan data adalah dokumentasi. Data panel dalam penelitian ini adalah penggabungan antara data cross section (data 10 Kabupaten/Kota di Provinsi Nusa Tenggara Barat) dan data time series (data dari tahun 2012-2023). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1). Investasi Penanaman Modal Dalam Negeri berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Pertumbuhan Ekonomi di Provinsi Nusa Tenggara Barat. 2). Investasi Penanaman Modal Asing berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Pertumbuhan Ekonomi di Provinsi Nusa Tenggara Barat. Dan 3). Investasi Penanaman Modal Dalam Negeri Dan Investasi Penanaman Modal Asing berpengaruh signifikan secara simultan terhadap Pertumbuhan Ekonomi.

Abstract

Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) is a severe form of dengue infection characterized by plasma leakage, hemorrhagic manifestations, and organ involvement. Compartment syndrome, although rare in DHF, presents a significant challenge due to its limb-threatening nature and the delicate balance required in fluid management. We report two cases of DHF complicated by compartment syndrome occurring within a month in a single hospital. The first case involves a 41-year-old male referred with a 5-day history of fluctuating fever, who subsequently developed severe right leg pain and swelling. Despite initial management with IV fluids, antiemetics, and gastroprotective agents, the patient’s condition worsened, leading to the diagnosis of compartment syndrome. Emergency fasciotomy revealed significant muscle necrosis and bleeding. Despite aggressive resuscitation, the patient progressed to refractory shock and passed away. The second case followed a similar clinical course, highlighting the rapid progression from stable DHF to severe complications and the critical role of prompt surgical intervention. These cases illustrate the severe complications associated with DHF, particularly when complicated by conditions like compartment syndrome. Early recognition and a multidisciplinary approach are crucial. Managing such cases involves navigating the delicate balance of fluid resuscitation to prevent shock while avoiding worsening compartment pressures. DHF with compartment syndrome requires vigilant monitoring, early surgical intervention, and coordinated care among specialties. These cases highlight the necessity for further research into the interaction between DHF and compartment syndrome to guide more effective management strategies.
