Abstract

The research carried out has the aim of examining the role of job analysis in an organization and its influence on employee performance. Job analysis is a procedure used to determine the demands and duties of a position as well as the characteristics of individuals who are suitable to fill the available positions, so that this job analysis can increase employee effectiveness and performance. The method used in this research is a literature study by reviewing 30 journals related to job analysis and employee performance. The results of this research also show that there is a positive influence between job analysis and increasing employee performance. Other influencing factors in ensuring individuals are matched to appropriate positions such as job descriptions and job specifications play a very important role. Apart from that, this research also found that job analysis also influences increasing employee job satisfaction, which will also increase employee performance. The suggestions in this research are the need for regular updates to job analysis, job integration into human resource management, and also evaluations that impact job analysis on employee performance.

Abstract

This study was conducted to understand the impact of social media on the mental health of early adults in Bekasi. Social media has become an inseparable part of individuals' daily lives, and its impact on mental health needs further investigation. This research employs a quantitative method with data collected through questionnaires completed by 62 early adult respondents in Bekasi. Data analysis was conducted using the Independent Sample T-Test and correlation tests. In this study, we found no significant relationship between mental health and gender, indicating that both men and women are equally vulnerable to the negative effects of social media on mental health. However, there was a significant relationship between age and frequency of social media use with mental health, where older respondents exhibited better mental health conditions. Conversely, higher frequency of social media use correlated with a decline in mental health quality. These findings also indicate that excessive social media use can have a negative impact on the mental health of early adults, possibly due to factors such as exposure to negative content, social comparison, and addiction. This study emphasizes the importance of balanced and responsible social media use to maintain the mental health of early adults.

Abstract

Program MBKM Membangun Desa merupakan upaya konkrit yang melibatkan Pendidikan, penenelitian, dan pengabdian Masyarakat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman orang tua tentang pentingnya komunikasi efektif dan peran parenthood dalam menciptakan keluarga harmonis. Kegiatan dilakukan di Perumahan Bumi Anggrek melalu metode penyuluhan yang mencakup sesi diskusi, psikoedukasi, evaluasi, dan tanya jawab. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa program ini mampu memberikan pemahaman yang lebih baik kepada orang tua mengenai pentingnya peran mereka dalam mendidik anak serta membangun hubungan yang harmonis melalui komunikasi efektif. Program ini juga berhasil memberikan panduan praktis bagi orang tua untuk meningkatkan hubungan emosional dengan anak.
