Abstract

This study focuses on the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) regarding the efficacy of the use of Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) in diagnosing and assessing musculoskeletal disorders. The methodology used involves collecting and analyzing data from various previously published studies. Strict inclusion criteria are applied to ensure the relevance and quality of the reviewed studies. Out of a total of 120 articles identified, 10 articles met the criteria and were included in the analysis. The results of the SLR show that MRI is a highly effective diagnostic tool, providing a detailed picture of bone structure, soft tissue, and cartilage without the need for radiation exposure. The study also found that MRI has high sensitivity and specificity in identifying various types of musculoskeletal disorders, including but not limited to arthritis, ligament injuries, and tendon ruptures. What's more, MRI supports early diagnosis which helps in designing a precise and personalized treatment plan, potentially reducing the patient's recovery time. From this analysis, we recommend a wider use of MRI in musculoskeletal clinical practice. However, more research is needed to optimize the protocol and reduce the associated costs, thereby expanding its accessibility across various medical settings.

Kampung Yoka falls under the jurisdiction of the Yoka Health Center. In 2023, the Jayapura City Health Office recorded 30 cases of HIV in the Yoka Health Center area. Referring to the health center's work areas where indigenous Papuans reside in Jayapura City, Yoka Health Center ranks third in HIV cases, following Waena Health Center with 71 instances and Hamadi Health Center with 36 cases. This study aims to describe the experiences of female healthcare workers while serving people living with HIV/AIDS (PLWHA), the obstacles they face, and the strategies they use. Phenomenology is employed as the design in this qualitative research method. Purposive sampling was used to select informants with rich data and long work experience from the beginning and ongoing service to PLWHA. In-depth interviews were conducted with two primary informants and one supporting informant. The informants conducted participant observation to understand the services provided to PLWHA in one of the hospitals in Jayapura City. Subsequently, the informants reported to the leadership that they would move to Yoka while renovating the clinic. Although the renovation was not completed, the informants had already brought PLWHA to the clinic for treatment. The first PLWHA treated recovered and gained weight up to 74 kg. Besides treatment, the services included nutrition, personal hygiene, and empowerment of PLWHA. The obstacles and challenges faced by the informants included stigma and discrimination, PLWHA dropping out of treatment, and the perception that informants were paid for counseling. The strategies employed by the informants included empowering PLWHA to work in the clinic and memorizing the names of ARV drugs taken. Additionally, the informants implemented a policy that PLWHA, which had previously been served, could not return to the clinic if they stopped treatment. The services provided encompassed treatment, personal hygiene, nutrition, and empowerment of PLWHA. Stigma and discrimination remain significant challenges and obstacles.
