Abstract

ABSTRAK Latar belakang mual muntah yang terjadi pada kehamilan trimester pertama disebabkan karena terjadinya peningkatan kadar hormon Estrogen dan Human Chorionic Gonadotropine (HCG). Mual muntah sering terjadi di pagi hari, yang di sebut morning sickness.Emesis gravidarum menyebabkan terganggunya aktivitas, menurunkan nafsu makan dan terjadinya dehidrasi,apabila tidak diatasi maka akan berdampak menjadi hiperemesis gravidarum. Emesis gravidarum bisa diatasi dengan terapi non farmakologi, salah satunya yaitu jahe. Jahe mengandung gingerol, shogaoldan zingeberen yang bisa menurunkan mual dan muntah pada ibu hamil.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis efektivitas minuman jahe terhadap pengurangan emesis gravidarum pada ibu hamil trimester 1. Metode penelitian ini merupakan quasi experiment dalam penelitian ini menggunakan design pra eksperimen dengan pre test dan post test. Hasil penelitian menunjukanuji normalitas wilcoxon terdapat nilai p=0,000 ada pengaruh minuman jahe terhadap pegurangan emesis gravidarum pada ibu hamil trimester 1 diklinik Salman Medika Tahun 2024. Kesimpulan ada efektivitas minuman jahe terhadap pegurangan emesis gravidarum pada ibu hamil trimester 1 diklinik Salman Medika Tahun 2024. Kata kunci : jahe, ibu hamil, emesis gravidarum ABSTRACK Nausea and vomiting that occurs in the first trimester of pregnancy is caused by increased levels of the hormones Estrogen and Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG). Nausea, vomiting often occurs in the morning, which is called morning sickness. Emesis gravidarum causes disruption of activities, decreased appetite and dehydration, if not treated it will result in hyperemesis gravidarum. Emesis gravidarum can be treated with non-pharmacological therapy, one of which is ginger. Ginger contains gingerol, shogaold and zingeberen which can reduce nausea and vomiting in pregnant women. The aim of this research is to analyze the effectiveness of ginger drinks in reducing emesis gravidarum in pregnant women in the 1st trimester. This research is a quasi experiment in this research using a pre-experimental design with a pre-test and post test. Research shows that the results of the Wilcoxon normality test have a value of p = 0.000, there is an effect of ginger drink on reducing emesis gravidarum in pregnant women in the 1st trimester at the Salman Medika clinic in 2024.
