Abstract

Diarrhea is a common disease in the community and can be fatal if treatment is delayed. Banjar District has recorded the highest prevalence of diarrhea in South Kalimantan for the past few years, making it one of the causes of death in toddlers. This study aims to conduct spatial analysis using Moran's I index and local indicators of spatial association (LISA). Diarrhea case predictions are made using the multiplicative decomposition time series method. The data used in this study are diarrhea case data from 20 sub-districts in Banjar District during the period 2016-2022. Although no global autocorrelation was found in Banjar District, there were two sub-districts that showed local autocorrelation. The prediction results show a decreasing trend in diarrhea cases in most sub-districts. Health interventions can be focused on areas with high risk, such as hotspot areas and areas predicted not to experience a decrease in diarrhea cases.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Maternal mortality remains a significant global health challenge, with high maternal mortality rates in many parts of the world being a key indicator of disparities in maternal health care. While great efforts have been made to reduce these mortality rates, the various contributing risk factors remain a major focus of efforts. This study aimed to conduct a bibliometric analysis of the scientific literature addressing risk factors contributing to maternal mortality over the period 2017 to 2024. In this study, data was obtained from 50 relevant articles retrieved from Google Scholar using Publish or Perish software. The articles were filtered based on relevance and analyzed in depth. The data collected included information on publication year, country of origin, publisher, number of citations, and article type. To generate a comprehensive bibliometric map, VOSviewer was used with the parameters of occurrence of at least 4 and 19 terms, as well as network visualization, overlay, and density. The analysis showed that research on maternal mortality has consistently focused on various risk factors and aspects of maternal health, with a significant emphasis on factors related to pregnancy complications, postnatal care, and socioeconomic health conditions. Developed countries such as the United States are often the primary location of research, indicating a high concentration of studies in these countries. In addition, the research highlighted consistent attention to the importance of adequate health care and specific health issues faced by pregnant women. The analysis also revealed that key themes in the current literature include the management of postpartum hemorrhage, postpartum infections, and the influence of socio-economic factors on maternal health. This study provides valuable insights into current research directions and trends in maternal health and underscores the importance of continuing to identify and mitigate risk factors that contribute to maternal mortality. The findings are expected to guide the development of more effective interventions and health policy strategies that can reduce maternal mortality globally and improve maternal health outcomes worldwide. Keywords: Maternal Mortality, Risk Factors, Bibliometric Analysis, Healthcare Interventions, Research Trends

Abstract

ABSTRACT Accurate and complete nursing documentation plays an important role in ensuring the quality of nursing care and patient safety. However, adherence to documentation standards among nurses often remains a challenge that affects the overall quality of medical records and clinical interventions. This study was conducted to map research trends and factors affecting compliance in nursing documentation through a bibliometric analysis approach. The main objective of this study was to identify the main topics, key factors, as well as emerging publication trends related to nursing documentation compliance over the past few years. This study used the Publish or Perish application to collect 50 scientific articles published between 2016 and 2024, with keywords such as "compliance", "completeness", and "nursing care documentation". The data obtained was then analyzed using VOSviewer to visualize the bibliometric network based on the keywords that appeared in the literature. Through Network Visualization, Overlay Visualization, and Density Visualization, this study identified the main keywords such as "completeness", "motivation", "knowledge", and "compliance" that were most frequently discussed in related studies. The results of the analysis showed that documentation completeness and its influencing factors, such as nurse motivation and knowledge, are the main focus in the documentation compliance literature. In addition, the publication trend shows a significant increase in 2020 and 2021, most likely related to the COVID-19 pandemic situation that drives increased attention to the quality of documentation in healthcare. The conclusion of this study shows that adherence in nursing documentation, specifically related to the completeness, motivation, and knowledge of nurses, is an important topic that continues to grow in research. Although technologies such as electronic medical records are also relevant, the focus of research seems to be more on behavioral factors that influence documentation quality. This study provides guidance for researchers to identify gaps in the literature that could be further explored, especially in the development of more effective and integrated documentation systems. Keywords: Compliance, Completeness, Nursing Care Documentation, Motivation, Knowledge
