Abstract

Abstrac : This study aims to find out the role of information services in maintaining the mental health of today's use of social media for class X students of SMK Negeri 1 Kalijambe in the 2022/2023 academic year.This research is a qualitative research. The subjects of this study were class X students of SMK Negeri 1 Kalijambe for the 2022/2023 academic year. Data collection techniques used are interviews, observation and documentation. Interviews were conducted by asking questions to the informants. Observations are made to obtain data by observing activities directly. Documentation is done by taking pictures in the form of photos during research. The analysis technique goes through 4 stages, namely data reduction, data presentation, inference and verification, as well as the final conclusion.The results of the study concluded that problems regarding the use of social media that have an impact on students' mental health need to be carried out by providing assistance with information services about mental health today's use of social media to provide an understanding of the proper use of social media. Participant problems related to the use of social media which interferes with mental health can be assisted with information services. The implementation was carried out for 3 meetings with some results from observations after being given information services to students. Keywords: Information services, mental health, social media Abstrak : Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk untuk mengetahi bagaimana peran layanan infomasi dalam menjaga kesehamtan ental penggunaan media sosial masa kini siswa kelas X SMK Negeri 1 Kalijambe tahun pelajaran 2022/2023.Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif. Subjek penelitian ini ialah siswa kelas X SMK Negeri 1 Kalijambe tahun pelajaran 2022/2023. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Wawancara dilakukan dengan mengajukan pertanyaan kepada narasumber. Observasi dilakukan untuk memperoleh data dengan mengamati kegiatan secara langsung. Dokumentasi dilakukan dengan pengambilan gambar berupa foto saat berjalannya penelitian. Teknik analisis melalui 4 tahap yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data, penyimpulan dan verifikasi, serta kesimpulan akhir.Hasil penelitian disimpulkan bahwa permasalahan mengenai penggunaan media sosial yang berdampak pada kesehatan mental siswa perlu dilaksanakan pemberian bantuan dengan layanan informasi tentang kesehatan mental penggunaan media sosial masa kini untuk memberikan pemahaman terhadap penggunaan media sosial secara tepat. Permasalahan partisipan yang berkaitan dengan penggunaan media sosial yang mengganggu kesehatan mental dapat di bantu dengan layanan informasi. Pelaksanaanya dilaksanakan selama 3 kali pertemuan dengan beberapa hasil dari pengamatan setelah diberikan layanan informasi terhadap siswa. Abstract

Writing is one of language ability which many students stated it as the most difficult ability. One of the reason is because of the lack of vocabulary. Meanwhile, vocabulary is the most important thing to master in learning language. Therefore this research aimed to find out the correlation between students’ vocabulary mastery and students’ writing ability. The population was 78 students and the sample taken by using Yamane formula were 62 students. This research used quantitative research method. The data was collected through pre-test and post-test. Each test contained 20 questions; ten questions of vocabulary and ten questions of writing. The tests carried out validity, reliability, normality, homogeneity, linearity, and t-test. All tests were counted by SPSS 16.0 application. Based on the descriptive statistics, the mean score of pre-test were 57.74 and the post-test score mean was higher; 78.79. The correlation result was r-count 0.527 > r-table 0.254 with significance value five percent. It meant H0 was rejected and Ha was accepted. Besides, the significance level of this correlation was 0.527; it was included to average level. Based on the finding, the conclusion was there was correlation between students’ vocabulary mastery and students’ writing ability.
