Abstract

Diabetes Mellitus (DM) adalah penyakit kronis berupa gangguan metabolik yang ditandai dengan kadar gula darah yang melebihi batas normal (Kemenkes RI, 2020). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui profil peresepan penggunaan obat diabetes mellitus tipe II pada pasien rawat jalan poliklinik penyakit dalam di Rumah Sakit X Karawang Periode Juli-Desember Tahun 2022. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif retrospektif dan menggunakan data sekunder. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh lembar resep obat diabetes mellitus tipe II pasien rawat jalan poliklinik penyakit dalam. Terdapat 157 resep yang dianalisis. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan, perempuan paling banyak menderita Diabetes Mellitus sebanyak 92 orang (58,60%). Usia pasien paling banyak ≥ 55 tahun sebanyak 79 orang (50,32%). Golongan Sulfonilurea paling banyak diresepkan yaitu sebanyak 147 resep (60,74%). Jenis obat yang paling banyak diresepkan glimepiride sebanyak 133 resep (54,96%). Pengobatan kombinasi lebih banyak diresepkan sebanyak 82 resep (52,23%) sedangkan pengobatan tunggal sebanyak 75 resep (47,77%). Obat kombinasi paling banyak diresepkan yaitu glimepiride dikombunasikan metformin sebanyak 66 resep (80,49%).

Abstract

Self-medication is a common practice among the public in managing health complaints, including coughs. This study aims to assess the level of knowledge regarding self-medication for cough medicine among patients at Sehati Bina Cakrawala Pharmacy in Karawang during the June–July 2024 period. A descriptive research method was employed, with a sample of 132 respondents selected using purposive sampling. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using univariate analysis with IBM SPSS 26 and Microsoft Excel. The findings indicate that out of 132 respondents, 93% had a good level of knowledge, 6% had a moderate level of knowledge, and 1% had a low level of knowledge regarding self-medication for cough medicine.

Abstract

Satisfaction with using pharmacy services is the attitude of consumers in determining the final direction and goal in the process of understanding the correct use of medicines or purchasing a medicinal product, so that patient satisfaction using pharmacy services can be used as a benchmark to see how much satisfaction the patient has with the services provided (Hasyim , 2019). The aim of this research is to determine the level of patient satisfaction with drug information services at the Cendana Cilegon Pharmacy in the period June – July 2024. This research uses a quantitative descriptive research design. Sampling technique Stratified Random Sampling and there were 141 respondents. The samples in this study were patients or families of patients who bought medicine without a doctor's prescription at the Cendana Cilegon Pharmacy. Data collection was carried out by giving questionnaires to respondents. The data obtained from the questionnaire calculated the average percentage of satisfaction and categorized it. The research results show that patient satisfaction is based on the service quality dimension on the reliability dimension (reliability) 87% very satisfied category, responsiveness dimension (responsiveness) 88% very satisfied category, guarantee dimension (assurance) 90% very satisfied category, empathy dimension (empathy) 85% very satisfied category, and the physical evidence dimension (tangible) 81% of the category is very satisfied. The research results show that the average patient satisfaction value is 86% with the very satisfied category, which means that patients are very satisfied with the drug information services at the Cendana Cilegon Pharmacy.
