Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji bagaimana pengaruh penggunaan media interaktif berbasis articulate storyline terhadap minat belajar peserta didik dalam pembelajaran IPS. Metode yang digunakan adalah quasi experimental dengan desain nonequivalent control group design. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol, kelas eksperimen untuk penelitian ini adalah kelas VIII I yang memiliki 32 peserta didik dan kelas kontrol adalah kelas VIII K yang memiliki 33 peserta didik. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah angket dengan skala likert. Hasil penelitian diolah menggunakan analisis statistik parametrik berupa paired sample t test serta analisis statistik non parametrik berupa uji wilcoxon dan uji mann whitney. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa (1) terdapat perbedaan minat belajar peserta didik antara sebelum dan sesudah diberikan treatment media pembelajaran interaktif berbasis articulate storyline di kelas eksperimen dalam pembelajaran IPS dengan nilai signifikansi 0,000 < 0,05 (2) terdapat perbedaan minat belajar peserta didik antara sebelum dan sesudah diberikan treatment Microsoft powerpoint di kelas kontrol dalam pembelajaran IPS dengan nilai signifikansi 0,015 > 0,05 serta (3) tidak terdapat perbedaan minat belajar peserta didik setelah diberikan treatment di kelas eksperimen menggunakan media pembelajaran interaktif berbasis articulate storyline dengan kelas kontrol yang menggunakan Microsoft powerpoint dalam pembelajaran IPS dengan nilai signifikansi 0,078 > 0,05.The influence of using articulate storyline-based interactive media on interest in learning social studiesThis research aims to examine the influence of the use of articulate storyline-based interactive media on students' learning interest in social studies learning. The method used is quasi experimental with a nonequivalent control group design. The research subjects consisted of an experimental class and a control class, the experimental class for this research was class VIII I which had 32 students and the control class was class VIII K which had 33 students. The research instrument used was a questionnaire with a Likert scale. The research results were processed using parametric statistical analysis in the form of a paired sample t test and non-parametric statistical analysis in the form of the Wilcoxon test and the Mann Whitney test. The results of data analysis show that (1) there is a difference in students' learning interest between before and after being given articulate storyline-based interactive learning media treatment in the experimental class in social studies learning with a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05 (2) there is a difference in students' learning interest between before and after being given Microsoft PowerPoint treatment in the control class in social studies learning with a significance value of 0.015 > 0.05 and (3) there was no difference in students' learning interest after being given treatment in the experimental class using interactive learning media based on articulate storyline with the control class using Microsoft PowerPoint in social studies learning with a significance value of 0.078 > 0.05.
