Abstract

Waqf, as an integral component of the Islamic philanthropic development model, Waqf plays a crucial role in enhancing educational quality. Its economic potential is further amplified through inter-governmental partnerships. This paper aims to elaborates on the potential of waqf as an economic instrument. Utilizing qualitative literature review methods, this article underscores the economic potential of waqf in addressing a range of pertinent issues. The findings of the study reveal that (1) waqf management aligns with economic capabilities; (2) economic management is in accordance with the practices of Prophet Muhammad and his companions; (3) management models are diversifying as an adaptive response to modern economic theory; (4) Waqf holds potential for economic development. Furthermore, this study's outcomes align with the waqf management concept implemented in several countries, demonstrating its success in managing waqf and providing community benefits, all grounded in Islamic teachings.

Abstract

This study explores the strategies and challenges involved in managing religious tolerance in Islamic schools in India. This study specifically examines the implementation of education in Dar-ul Madinah international Islamic School System and Al Hira International Islamic School, both of which follow Islamic principles. The study utilizes a descriptive qualitative survey methodology to gather insights from key stakeholders such as school administrators, teachers, and students. By employing this methodology, the research seeks to understand the strategies Islamic the school employs to promote religious tolerance and identify the obstacles they face. Since Islam is a minority religion in India, these schools encounter unique challenges. findings will contribute to the existing knowledge on religious tolerance in the Indian educational landscape and provide valuable insights for school administrators, policymakers, and educators. Dar-ul Madinah international Islamic School System and Al Hira Islamic School is a model for promoting religious tolerance by implementing best practices in curriculum design, interfaith dialogue, and creating an inclusive environment. By adopting these strategies, the school fosters an environment where students understand Islam comprehensively, engage in positive interactions with other faiths, and experience the benefits of a diverse and inclusive community. Additionally, the management of these schools prioritizes religious tolerance, allowing students to adapt and coexist harmoniously with the majority Hindu community. The study examines the educational practices of these schools in alignment with their vision and mission. It proposes strategies for implementing religious tolerance-based education, which can serve as a blueprint for Islamic schools in minority countries.

Abstract

This research aims to discover data and the concept of an educational institution regarding entrepreneurship education in vocational schools, which plays a crucial role in shaping a workforce with the skills to enter the job market. It seeks to understand the vision and mission of vocational schools. The research employs a qualitative method using library studies. Data is collected through relevant references such as journals, the internet, and articles related to the development of entrepreneurship in vocational schools. The results of this research indicate that the working world greatly requires individuals who can develop new ideas in business and possess adequate skills. Vocational education is a supporting factor in producing skilled workforce in their respective fields. Vocational schools have the opportunity to build an economic system by leveraging the development of adolescents at this time, educating students to be interested in becoming entrepreneurs. Entrepreneurship preparation should be emphasized, especially in vocational schools. If the education system and training run effectively, it is possible to produce competent entrepreneurs and reduce unemployment rates. The education sector has the responsibility to create prospective workers with skills and abilities.
