Abstract

The victory of the candidate pair Mohammad Idris and Imam Budi Hartono in the 2020 Depok City Regional Election created substantial political dynamics at the local level. The background of the candidate pair, holding incumbent status, provided advantages in terms of track record, knowledge, public figure status, and popularity, which could shape social support as a political campaign tool. The utilization of social support as a political instrument was reinforced through a religious approach by leveraging figures and community groups to form social networks. Through the formation of social networks within the community, the candidate pair could formulate policy programs aligned with the community's needs. This research aims to analyze the sociopolitical aspects related to the phenomenon of community decision-making contributing to the victory of the candidate pair. The research method used was descriptive qualitative, utilizing two types of data sources: primary data obtained through structured interviews and secondary data including books, statistical data of Depok City, and relevant previous research. The research findings indicate that sociopolitical factors such as political identity, economy, religion, and social dynamics play significant roles in shaping the victory of the candidate pair Mohammad Idris and Imam Budi Hartono in the 2020 Depok City Regional Election. The findings from this research provide an in-depth understanding of the importance of comprehending the interplay of sociopolitical factors in understanding political phenomena at the local level.

Abstract

Penolakan terhadap konser Coldplay oleh PA 212 dan MUI di Indonesia menggambarkan dinamika kompleks dalam tatanan sosial dan budaya yang terjadi di negara ini. Dalam situasi yang dipenuhi dengan perspektif dan nilai-nilai yang beragam, analisis strategi lobi dan negosiasi menjadi esensial untuk memahami interaksi antara pihak-pihak yang terlibat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menyelidiki secara mendalam strategi lobi dan negosiasi yang diterapkan dalam menanggapi penolakan tersebut oleh PA 212 dan MUI. Dengan menggunakan metode analisis kualitatif, data yang diperoleh dari sumber-sumber data sekunder, termasuk pernyataan resmi, laporan berita, dan dokumen-dokumen terkait, dianalisis secara cermat. Temuan dari penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan wawasan yang lebih mendalam tentang strategi lobi dan negosiasi yang efektif dalam menghadapi tantangan semacam ini. Selain itu, penelitian ini juga diharapkan dapat menggambarkan implikasi lebih luasnya terhadap konflik budaya dan agama di Indonesia. Dengan memperluas pemahaman kita tentang dinamika ini, diharapkan dapat ditemukan solusi yang lebih baik untuk mengatasi perbedaan dan mempromosikan dialog yang konstruktif dalam masyarakat yang beragam seperti di Indonesia

Abstract

In the context of environmental law enforcement, justice is a crucial element. Recognizing the importance of justice in the context of the environment and natural resource management is expected to raise awareness about environmental care and sustainable preservation efforts. The management of natural resources plays a key role in shaping the development of human societies. Land resources hold significant importance for human survival, as they are used in various human activities such as agriculture, industry, housing, transportation networks, recreation, and environmental conservation for scientific purposes. However, many conflicts arise concerning land, with concrete examples such as land disputes. Efforts to protect the environment have been made through various means, including community participation, stakeholder involvement, regulation, national and international agreements, legislation, and law enforcement. Additionally, scientific and technological approaches, as well as technical programs, have also been employed in environmental protection efforts. Nevertheless, environmental issues have not yet been fully effectively addressed. An example is the case of the Land Rights Achievement of the Wadas Village Community in relation to the Bener Dam Development Plan. This research has the potential to be used as a dynamic analysis of environmental justice and natural resource management.
