Abstract

Family support is a form that should be given to the family that is included in the implementation of stress on the elderly because through the family health problems can arise and can be overcome.This study aims to find out if there is a relationship between family support and the stress level of the elderly in the poor environment v poor environment The objective of the research employed in this study is to describe the nature or qualities of a symptom, event, or occurrence that is currently taking place. The methodology used is quantitative research with a descriptive analytical research design. Cross tabulation statistical tests showed that there was no relationship between family support and stress levels in the elderly in the Bailang district of Bunaken. The study used the spearman rank test, with the result of the correlation coefficient analysis obtained a value (P) = 0.905 ≥ α. Based on the results of the research, analysis of data, and discussion, it can be concluded that: Family support for the elderly in the Environment V Kelurahan Bailang District Bunaken majority is good. Stress level in the Elderly In the Environments V kelurahan bailang district Bunaken is severe majority. There is no significant relationship of family support with the stress level in older persons in the neighborhoods V Kelorahan Bailang Districts Bunaken (p≥0,05) with a weak non-significance of 0.905

Abstract

. A work accident is an unpredictable event. When it happens, it is important to provide first aid in work accidents and to do it one must have knowledge. To increase knowledge about this first aid, it can be done by providing telenursing-based education. The purpose of this research was to find out the effect of telenursing-based education on the cognitive ability of garbage collector in performing first aid in a work accident. This research was conducted by using a quasi-experimental one group pre-test and posttest design. The population as many as 40 people and sample amounted to 15 respondents which was taken using non-probality sampling technique. This research used Whatsapp application and data collection was done by giving questionnaires in the form of link to pre test and posttest. Then, the collected data was analyzed by a Wilcoxon statistic test. From the wilcoxon test, it was obtained that ρ value = 0,002 in which this ρ value < α = 0,05 meaning Ha was accepted and Ho was rejected. The conclusion of this research is that there is an effect of telenursing-based education on the cognitive ability of garbage collector in performing first aid in a work accident.

Abstract

Diabetes Mellitus is a group of metabolic diseases characterized by hyperglycemia due to impaired insulin production, insulin action. Management of the 4 pillars of diabetes mellitus includes education on eating arrangements. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of booklet media education on dietary compliance in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus in the ranomuut health center work area.The research design used is a pre-experiment with a one group pre and posttest design approach. The sample in this study were 23 respondents using purposive sampling technique. the research instrument used was a questionnaire sheet. Then the data that has been collected is processed using the SPSS 16.0 program to be analyzed using the Mc.Nemar statistical test with a level of meaningfulness (α) = 0.05. Based on the results of the study when given education for the pre-test, the highest percentage was non-compliant 21 respondents (91.3%) and the post-test the highest percentage was compliant 22 respondents (95.7%). From the results of the Mc.Nemar statistical test, the P value = 0.000 with a significance of <0.05, which means Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. The conclusion of this study is that there is an effect of booklet media education on dietary compliance in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus in the ranomuut health center work area. This study is expected to increase knowledge in implementing dietary compliance so that it can control the problem of diabetes mellitus.

Abstract

Good quality family support can help reduce feelings of loneliness and improve one's emotional well-being. Conversely, a lack of support or poor family relationships can exacerbate feelings of loneliness. When compared to other problems, loneliness is a major cause of stress. This study aims to determine the relationship between family support and loneliness in the elderly in Binjeita village, East Bolangitang District. This study used descriptive analytic method with cross-sectional approach. Respondents were 52 using the porpusive sampling method. Data collection between the two variables was carried out using a family support questionnaire and UCLA loneliness scale version 3 based on inclusion and exclusion criteria. The collected data were analyzed using the chi-square. The results of this study were 40 respondents (76.9%) who had good family support and 42 respondents (80.0%) were not loneliness with 20 men and 32 women. The results of the chi square test with a p value = 0.000, with a p value smaller than alpha (α) = 0.05.In conclusion, there is a significant relationship between family support and loneliness in the elderly in Binjeita Village, East Bolangitang District. Suggestions for families in Binjeita Village, East Bolangitang District can provide support to the elderly to reduce loneliness.

Abstract

Poor quality of life in the elderly has the potential to cause various complications that worsen their well-being.The importance of spirituality in the lives of the elderly, which is related to old age, is associated with the limitations and difficulties in the abilities of the elderly.The purpose of this study is to determine the relationship between spiritual conditions and the quality of life of the elderly in Marinsow Village, Likupang Timur District, North Minahasa Regency.The research uses a cross-sectional design.The sample in this study consisted of 54 respondents using the purposive sampling technique.Data collection on spiritual conditions and quality of life was conducted using a questionnaire and analyzed using the chi-square statistical test.The results of the study showed that the most common level of spirituality was moderate spirituality, with 32 respondents (59.3%), and the most common quality of life was moderate quality of life, with 30 respondents (55.6%).The results of the Somers test obtained a p-value of 0.000 where < α 0.05.Conclusion: There is a relationship between spiritual condition and the quality of life of the elderly in Marinsow Village, Likupang Timur District, North Minahasa Regency.

Abstract

Patients with mental disorders often face a decrease in the quality of their ability to carry out daily activities and social interactions. One of the factors that can affect the quality of life of patients with mental disorders is their self-care ability. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between self-care ability and quality of life of schizophrenia patients at Prof. Dr. V. L. Ratumbuysang Mental Hospital. This Method of research is correlation and uses cross sectional research design. The population in this study amounted to 52 patients with schizophrenia, the sampling technique used purposive sampling technique using inclusion criteria so that the sample obtained was 32 patients. The results of this study are based on the Sperman Rho test the result of the p value is 0.000 which is smaller than the significant value (a = 0.05), then the correlation coefficient is also found to be 0.752 which can be interpreted in the strong relationship category, thus it can be said that in this study H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted which means that there is a relationship between self-care skills and the quality of life of schizophrenic patients at Prof. Dr. V. L. Ratumbuysang Mental Hospital. The conclusion of this study is a significant relationship between the role of nurses and the implementation of self-care in schizophrenic patients, the better the self-care skills, the better the quality of life in patients with schizophrenic mental disorders Guidance and coaching provided by nurses can help patients develop better self-care skills
