Abstract

ABSTRAKDesa Kalirejo berada di Kecamatan Salaman, Kabupaten Magelang yang memiliki luas wilayah/km2 sebesar 6,79 km2 dan jumlah penduduk 5065 jiwa. Dari hasil survei dan wawancara bersama pihak desa, kami mendapatkan data bahwa Desa Kalirejo memiliki potensi yang sangat besar, terutama pada sektor wisata. Salah satu potensi di desa tersebut adalah Sejarah Napak Tilas Diponegoro. Akan tetapi, permasalahan yang dihadapi yakni potensi tersebut belum dimanfaatkan secara optimal oleh pihak Karang Taruna Desa Kalirejo. Adanya penurunan daya tarik wisatawan merupakan salah satu berhentinya aktivitas pariwisata di Desa Kalirejo dalam bidang wisata dan ekonomi yang mengakibatkan turunnya jumlah pengunjung, serta minimnya inovasi dalam pemanfaatan potensi wisata di Desa Kalirejo yang menjadikan permasalahan tersebut perlu diatasi. Rendahnya tingkat pengetahuan pengunjung mengenai peristiwa sejarah Napak Tilas Diponegoro yang ada di desa tersebut menjadi permasalahan yang ada. Selain itu, tingkat pengetahuan dan ketertarikan masyarakat terkait urgensi kelestarian sejarah yang ada di Desa Kalirejo masih perlu ditingkatkan. Solusi yang diberikan atas permasalahan yang dihadapi yaitu Program Duwi Segoro. Program ini memiliki tujuan untuk menyusun konsep dan struktural pengelolaan berupa peningkatan dan pengoptimalan potensi sumber daya manusia, sumber daya alam, dan sejarah yang nantinya akan menghasilkan luaran berupa wawasan keterampilan baru oleh Karang Taruna di Desa Kalirejo.Kata Kunci: Desa Wisata, Kalirejo, Karang Taruna,  ABSTRACTKalirejo Village is located in Salaman Sub-district, Magelang District, which has an area/km2 of 6.79 km2 and a population of 5065 people. From the survey results and interviews with the village, we obtained data that Kalirejo Village has enormous potential, especially in the tourism sector. One of the potentials in the village is the Diponegoro Napak Tilas History. However, the problem faced is that this potential has not been optimally utilized by the Kalirejo Village Youth Organization. The decline in tourist attraction is one of the cessation of tourism activities in Kalirejo Village in the tourism and economic fields which has resulted in a decrease in the number of visitors, as well as the lack of innovation in the utilization of tourism potential in Kalirejo Village which makes these problems need to be overcome. The low level of knowledge of visitors about the historical events of Napak Tilas Diponegoro in the village is an existing problem. In addition, the level of knowledge and interest of the community regarding the urgency of historical preservation in Kalirejo Village still needs to be improved. The solution given to the problems faced is the Duwi Segoro Program. This program aims to develop concepts and structural management in the form of increasing and optimizing the potential of human resources, natural resources, and history which will produce outputs in the form of new skills insights by Youth Organization in Kalirejo Village.Keywords: Kalirejo, Youth Organization, Village Tourism.

Abstract

The Kampus Mengajar program plays an important role in education, offering opportunities to develop students outside the regular classroom. However, converting program activities into semester credits has a considerable impact on participants who have to learn independently. The primary goal of this study was to explore what learning strategies are used by Kampus Mengajar 6 & 7 students and the benefits of the learning strategies used by Kampus Mengajar 6 & 7 students. In this study, the researchers used qualitative research. The researchers use interviews as the main instrument to obtain data related to the problems being discussed in this study. The collected data will be analyzed using the descriptive analysis method. Students of Kampus Mengajar 6 and 7 at the English Education Department use learning strategies, such as Social, Cognitive, Affective, and Memory strategies, to catch up with the learning material. In general, Kampus Mengajar students thought their learning strategies worked effectively for understanding the conversion course material. The study examined Kampus Mengajar 6 & 7 English Education students' learning strategies for conversion courses. They primarily used social strategies, such as peer interaction and group discussions, and cognitive strategies, involving critical thinking and problem-solving. Affective and memory strategies were also employed for motivation and retention. Meta-cognitive and compensatory strategies were not used due to insufficient awareness and proficiency.

Abstract

English language teaching in primary schools provides an important basis for students’ language development. The development of English language skills in elementary school students is important. The primary goal of this study was to explore the challenges that teachers face when teaching English at SDN Mangunsari. The qualitative method was used in this study to identify and classify the specifics of challenges in teaching English. The researchers gather the data through a observation to identify and address challenges faced by teachers when teaching English at SDN Mangunsari. The collected data will be analyzed using the descriptive analysis method. The difficulties in teaching English at SDN Mangunsari include curriculum transitions, gaps generated by students of different ages within the same grade, and inconsistency caused by a lack of alignment between teaching and assessment. To overcome the challenges found at SDN Mangunsari when teaching English, transition English classes, cooperative learning, and consistent English teaching in all grades must be implemented. These strategies attempt to create a suitable learning environment and to make the English language topic more accessible at SDN Mangunsari.
