Abstract

This research has: 1) the purpose of developing history learning media using the Smart App Creator 3 (SAC) application; and 2) to determine the feasibility of learning media using the Smart App Creator 3 (SAC) application. This research uses the Research and Development (R&D) method using the Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluate (ADDIE) model. This research was conducted at SMA Negeri 3 Magelang. The small group test subjects were 34 students, while the large group test subjects were 108 students. Data analysis used qualitative data (observation and interview) and quantitative data (questionnaire). The results of product development have produced history learning media based on the Smart App Creator 3 (SAC) application. The product was assessed by material experts and media experts with a score of 94 and 103 included in the criteria of good/worthy of use and the results of the large group trial scored 86 in high criteria so that the media is suitable for use in learning History at SMA Negeri 3 Magelang.

Abstract

This article contains the thoughts of nationalism from one of the figures in Indonesia, namely Haji Abdul Malik Karim Amrullah or Buya Hamka. Hamka is a thinker who is also a religious or scholar. The research used by researchers with five stages of historical research, namely selecting topics, heuristics, verification, interpretation, and historiography. In this article, the character education that Hamka received cannot be separated from religion. Character education according to Hamka is to develop the potential that exists in humans but does not extend from religious values. In the implementation of the existing curriculum, the role of Pancasila becomes dominant. Pancasila teaches a sense of responsibility towards the nation as well as biung based on religion. Nationalism becomes a student strength to become Indonesia's solid stronghold in the future.

Abstract

Modernization influences the quality of the younger generation in their actions and behavior. The loss of Generation Z’s awareness of their cultural heritage has become an important concern that requires proper solutions. Historical values contained in every cultural heritage site must continue to be preserved to maintain their sustainability. In the era of revolution, developments in information and technology are advancing rapidly. One example is a social media platform called TikTok. The TikTok application has been downloaded by millions of users from various countries. TikTok provides diverse video features that are easily accessible to anyone. Therefore, educational content is needed to stimulate curiosity among the younger generation. In fact, the current habit of the younger generation is scrolling through TikTok and other social media platforms. The presence of educational historical content, such as cultural heritage, can help improve Generation Z’s knowledge and encourage their participation in preserving cultural heritage. Indonesia has various historical sites that have been recognized by UNESCO. This study takes the Mantyasih Inscription located in the Magelang City area as the research object.

Abstract

The Abdul Qahar Mudzakkar movement in South Sulawesi between the 1950s and 1960s constituted one of the most prolonged armed rebellions in post-independence Indonesia, significantly affecting local socio-economic conditions. This study aims to analyze the social and economic impacts of the movement on South Sulawesi society, particularly in rural areas that became centers of conflict. Using a qualitative historical research design, this study employs document analysis of academic journals, dissertations, and historical records relevant to the DI/TII movement and regional socio-economic dynamics. The findings indicate that prolonged armed conflict led to severe disruption of agricultural production, damage to rural infrastructure, declining household incomes, increased poverty, and social stratification. The instability also weakened state services, reduced educational access, and intensified survival-based economic practices. Furthermore, socio-economic disparities reinforced local grievances that sustained the movement. This study contributes to the historiography of Indonesian regional conflicts by integrating socio-economic perspectives into the analysis of political rebellion. The findings underline the importance of socio-economic recovery and inclusive development in post-conflict regions.
