Abstract

The objective of this research is to identify the effects of the application of content taxonomy (X) on customer experience (Y) among the Over-the-Top media service users of PT Vidio Dot Com. This study is considered as a quantitative exploratory research, which is commonly used in response to the scarcity of past research discussing certain problems or topics. From the population of service users of PT Vidio Dot Com, 120 people were selected as the respondents through non-probability sampling method and purposive sampling technique. They must be people with the minimum age of seventeen years who live in Jabodetabek and have used the service of Vidio – an Over-the-Top media – for the last two years. The research data was harvested via online Likert-scaled questionnaires and was analyzed using simple linear regression in SPSS version 29. The results of the hypothesis testing indicate that content taxonomy positively and significantly influences customer experience.   Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengindentifikasi pengaruh penerapan content taxonomy (X) terhadap customer experience (Y) pada pengguna Over-The-Top Media Service PT Vidio Dot Com. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan ragam exploratory research yang lumrah digunakan ketika jarang ditemukan penelitian terdahulu yang membahas masalah atau topik yang diteliti. Penelitian ini menggunakan sampel sebanyak 120 responden yang diperoleh dari populasi pengguna layanan PT. Vidio Dot Com. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik non-probability dengan kategori purposive sampling dan pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner secara daring (dalam jaringan). Kriteria sampel ditentukan yaitu berusia minimal 17 tahun, berdomisili di lingkup wilayah Jabodetabek, pernah menggunakan layanan media OTT Vidio (baik melalui website atau aplikasi) dalam kurun waktu 2 tahun terakhir. Analisis data penelitian ini menggunakan analisis regresi linear sederhana dengan menggunakan program software SPSS Versi 29. Skala yang digunakan adalah skala likert. Hasil pengujian terhadap hipotesis dapat disimpulkan bahwa content taxonomy berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap customer experience.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze financial management efforts in traditional businesses in Serang City, Banten, which are influenced by local cultural values. The study employed a qualitative approach, with data collection techniques including in-depth interviews, participant observation, and documentation. Data analysis was conducted using NVivo 12. This study aims to identify themes, patterns, and interrelationships between financial literacy, financial management practices, and the influence of local culture on financial decision-making. The results show that business owners' financial literacy varies, but all implement simple cash recording as an adaptive mechanism. Informal financial management practices, such as simple budget planning and monthly evaluations, are consistent and effective. Local cultural values, including cooperation, deliberation, and mutual trust, facilitate capital collaboration, shared decision-making, and social accountability. Simple financial control strategies, combined with local cultural values ​​, enhance transparency, prevent conflict, and support business sustainability. This study confirms that traditional business financial management need not be complex; a combination of financial literacy, simple practices, and local cultural wisdom is sufficient to maintain business efficiency and financial stability.
