Abstract

The existence of a leader in an organization/company/country is important and must exist. A leader must have good managerial skills and excel in providing examples and direction to his subordinates. Because with a good and superior theory and leadership style, you will be able to form superior character and human resources that are felt by employees and their subordinates. One of the characteristics of a leader that is needed in this modern era is example, honesty and high discipline as well as the ability to manage emotions in various matters, both in responding to the company/organization and in dealing with subordinates who are deemed to need special handling. In this research, it was found that the facts and influence of a leader in shaping the character of the people he leads cannot be separated from the upbringing of a leader who will later have superior character in facing Indonesia in the future or golden Indonesia 2045.

Abstract

Whether the flow of globalization is realized or not is able to have a significant influence on the behavior, skills and emotional relationships of workers or employees towards the place where they work or the company. Apart from that, the existence and behavior of organizational culture is also no less competitive in providing encouragement and changes in an employee's attitude, mindset and work ethic towards the company where he works. So that these two things, organizations and the flow of globalization must be able and able to be handled well so that the relationship between employees and the company can still be maintained well and will actually be able to have a positive influence on the development of the company which is supported by advances in technology and work skills. Thus, the results of this research show that a good organizational culture and building good relationships with employees in the era of globalization will be able to encourage the progress of the company and the development of employee work ethics.

Abstract

The rapid advancement of technology has influenced work patterns and the preferences of the new workforce generation, particularly Generation Z. One of the key issues in human resource management today is how to maintain employee work ethic without neglecting the need for work-life balance. This study aims to analyze the effect of work-life balance on the work ethic of Generation Z employees in technology companies. The research method used is a quantitative approach with a survey technique involving 100 respondents who are Generation Z employees in three technology companies in Jakarta. Regression analysis results show that work-life balance has a positive and significant effect on work ethic. These findings indicate that companies need to design flexible and adaptive work policies that accommodate the personal needs of young employees to enhance their enthusiasm, dedication, and sense of responsibility at work.

Abstract

Pada prinsipnya setiap manusia butuh pengakuan dan penghargaan dimana ia berada, demikian juga dengan pekerja atau karyawan yang juga membutuhkan penghargaan dalam bentuk konpensasi atau upah yang sesuai dengan pekerjaan yang ia tekuni. Dalam penelitian ini membahas tentang pengaruh kompensasi finansial terhadap penempatan kerja dan dampaknya terhadap minat kerja karyawan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keberadaan kompensasi memberikan pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap minat kerja, etos kerja serta keseriusan dalam bekerja di suatu perusahaan.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of emotional intelligence and spiritual intelligence on the performance of Generation Z employees, with employee engagement as a mediating variable in the hybrid work era. The phenomenon of changing work patterns due to technological developments and the global pandemic has created a new work model that demands adaptive skills and emotional and spiritual balance within individuals. Generation Z, known for being technologically savvy but prone to digital fatigue, requires internal support in the form of emotional and spiritual intelligence to increase work engagement and optimal performance. This research method used a quantitative approach, collecting data through questionnaires from 120 Generation Z employees in various industrial sectors implementing a hybrid work system. Data analysis was conducted using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The results showed that emotional intelligence and spiritual intelligence have a significant positive effect on employee engagement and performance. Furthermore, employee engagement was shown to mediate the relationship between these two forms of intelligence and performance. These findings emphasize the importance of developing emotional and spiritual dimensions in human resource management to address the dynamics of the modern workplace.
