Abstract

Scheduling is important and must be done in every project implementation. PT XYZ is a company engaged in the production of industrial machine fabrication. One of the jobs PT XYZ obtained was making auto feeder conveyors. In its scheduling plan, PT XYZ estimates that the work will be completed within 37 days. However, in practice, the work was completed within 42 days. There was a delay of 5 days. This delay will cause losses in costs and also cause consumer dissatisfaction. To resolve this delay, the critical path method (CPM) is used. After using the CPM method, the auto feeder conveyor manufacturing project can be completed within 39 days. The critical path of the project lies in work B – E – F – G – H – I – J.

Abstract

PT Energi Listrik Batam (ELB) adalah perusahaan pembangkit listrik swasta yang beroperasi sebagai Independent Power Producer (IPP). PT Energi Listrik Batam (ELB) mengembangkan, membangun, membiayai, dan mengoperasikan Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Gas Siklus Sederhana (PLTG). Dalam prosesnya PT Energi Listrik Batam (ELB) menggunakan Fin Fan Cooler (FFC) sebagai salah satu komponen vital dalam sistem pendinginan gas turbine generator (GTG) unit 1 yang ada di PT Energi Listrik Batam (ELB). Kinerja fin fan cooler sangat berperan penting dalam menjaga suhu air pendingin agar mesin GTG dapat beroperasi pada kondisi ideal dan efisien. Namun semakin berjalannya waktu terjadi penurunan performa akibat gangguan mekanis, downtime maupun penurunan kapasitas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi penyebab penurunan performa yang terjadi menggunakan metode Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian didapatkan rata-rata tingkat efektivitas fin fan cooler sebesar 35.37% masih dibawah standar ketentuan perusahaan yaitu 85%. Setelah perbaikan diharapkan peningkatan efektivitas pada fin fan cooler.
