Abstract

This study looked at the link between hemodialysis intensity and anxiety in individuals with chronic renal failure who were receiving hemodialysis. A correlation analysis is the method of study. The population for this study consisted of 80 respondents, and 35 samples were taken using consecutive sampling methods. The Chi-Square test was used for data analysis in this study using SPSS for Windows version 25.0. The results of the research and data analysis can be used to draw the conclusion that there is a correlation between the intensity of hemodialysis and anxiety levels in patients with chronic renal failure undergoing hemodialysis, as determined by the Chi-Square test calculation of sig value of 0.020 0.05. The research was conducted on 35 respondents. It was determined that among patients with chronic renal failure receiving hemodialysis, there was a link between the intensity of hemodialysis and the degree of anxiety. The patient starts to adapt well and the degree of anxiety starts to reduce following continued therapy, which is expected to help the family support and encourage the patient.

Abstract

This study sought to ascertain the impact of administering cooked water Soursop leaves (Annona muricata) to gout patients in the village of Plososari Mojokerto on their uric acid levels. This study's design was not experimental. All of the 20 plososari mojokerto individuals with gout made up the study's population. Total sampling is the sample method used in this study. According to the findings of statistical testing, there was a drop in uric acid levels before and after, with 20 (100%) of the respondents having high levels before, 10 (50%) after, and 10 (50%) of the remaining respondents having normal levels. One that results from their excessive consumption of purine-rich foods.

Abstract

Service accuracy is the minimum standard of service that must be achieved by nurses in the emergency room, so that proper triage implementation is needed. Triage is the classification of patients based on the level of emergency by prioritising actions on airway (A), breathing (B), and circulation (C) disorders by considering facilities, human resources and the probability of patient life. The literature search in this literature review uses six databases with high and medium quality criteria, namely scient driect, IEEG, cedekia, Sci-hub, ProQuest, Pubmed. For previous studies using correlational analytics with a cross-sectional study approach, descriptive: combination (mixed methods) with sequential explanatory design. cross sectional. Check Prisma to guide this review. Titles, abstracts, full text and methodology were assessed for study eligibility. Data were tabulated and analysed narratively. Results: Nine journal literature met the inclusion criteria, with the major theme of triage accuracy in the Emergency Department. There were three journals analysing the accuracy of triage implementation, and four journals relating to triage accuracy. Factors that often appear in triage accuracy include nurses' understanding of triage, motivation and workload. Knowledge is one of the most important factors in the accuracy of triage implementation. Proper implementation of triage can reduce morbidity, disability, and mortality so as to improve service quality and customer satisfaction. Keywords: Accuracy of triage.

Abstract

Chronic kidney disease is a condition where the kidneys fail to perform their function to excrete substances that are not needed by the body, resulting in accumulation in the body which can trigger uremia. This scientific work aims to apply nursing care to CKD patients with ineffective breathing patterns at Ibnu Sina Gresik Hospital. The method applied in the preparation of this scientific work is the case study method. The subjects in this scientific work are participants with CKD cases and have problems with ineffective breathing patterns who are undergoing treatment at Ibnu Sina Gresik Hospital. Data collection using interview techniques, observation, physical examination, and documentation and was carried out in the period January to March 2023. The nursing care process for participants was carried out for 5 days, and the assessment results were obtained, namely shortness of breath. The implementation process is carried out in accordance with nursing care planning, one of which is by giving the semi-fowler position. A thorough evaluation was carried out during the provision of nursing care, and it was found that the participants with the problem of ineffective breathing patterns were resolved. Participants do not complain of shortness of breath, breathing frequency improves or is in the normal range, dyspnoea decreases, and there is no use of breathing muscles. The problem of ineffective breathing patterns is resolved by the application of nursing care that is carried out comprehensively. Giving the semi fowler position has an impact on reducing ineffective breathing patterns, because in a tilt angle of 45 degrees and applied during treatment is able to press the diaphragm down so that the lungs can expand and get maximum oxygen supply. Keywords: Chronic Kidney Disease, Ineffective Breathing Pattern, Semi-Fowler's Position.
