Abstract

This study aims to describe the learning outcomes of students who are taught using flashcard learning media for students of SLB Siswa Budhi and to find out whether there are differences in learning outcomes for students who are taught before and after being taught using flashcard learning media based on flora and fauna. The ability to read and recognize children's letters is influenced by the learning media used. This can be seen from the application of flashcard learning media. Data was collected from three students of SLB Siswa Budhi. This research is a descriptive qualitative research. At the data collection stage, the researcher used the listening method and experimental research, the listening method was listening to the children's speech which they obtained before and after the application of flashcard learning media. Therefore this research concerns the application of flora and fauna character-based flashcards to improve the ability to recognize letters of moderately mentally retarded students. This research resulted that the application of flashcard learning media is good and appropriate to be used as a learning medium because it can improve the ability to read and recognize letters of students with moderate mental retardation.

Abstract

Abstrak This research analyzes the social interactions in the short story "Holy Family" by Sunlie Thomas Alexander. The focus of the research carried out was analyzing associative social interactions and dissociative social interactions. The aim of this research is to describe the various types of social interactions contained in the short story "Holy Family" by Sunlie Thomas Alexander. The approach applied is a qualitative approach, the data sources contained in this research are in the form of words, phrases and sentences in short stories. The data collection method in analyzing is in the form of short stories and relevant theoretical sources used in analyzing data and reading carefully analyzing relevant data, classifying, presenting and concluding research data. The research results show that there is associative social interaction which is included in the types of cooperation and accommodation, while disassociative social interaction is in the form of contravention and conflict or conflict. This research contributes to readers regarding the various types of dissociative social interactions and associative social interactions and their relevance in social life. Keywords:Short story; Social interaction; Disassociative social interaction, Associative social interaction; Penelitian ini menganalisis mengenai interaksi sosial yang ada pada cerpen “Keluarga Kudus” karya Sunlie Thomas Alexander. Fokus penelitian yang dilakukan adalah menganalisis interaksi sosial asosiatif dan interaksi sosial disosiatif. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan macam-macam interaksi sosial yang terdapat dalam cerpen “Keluarga Kudus” karya Sunlie Thomas Alexander. Pendekatan yang diterapkan adalah dengan pendekatan kualitatif, sumber data yang terdapat dalam penelitian ini yakni dalam bentuk kata, frasa dan kalimat dalam cerpen. Metode pengumpulan data dalam menganalisis yakni berupa cerpen dan sumber teori yang relevan digunakan dalam menganalisis data dan membaca dengan cermat menganalisis data yang relevan, mengklasifikasikan, menyajikan dan menyimpulkan data hasil penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya interaksi sosial asosiatif yang termasuk dalam jenis kerja kerja sama dan akomodasi, sedangkan interaksi sosial disosiatif yakni dalam bentuk kontravensi dan pertentangan atau pertikaian. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi terhadap pembaca mengenai macammacam interaksi sosial disosiatif dan interaksi sosial asosiatif serta relevansi dalam kehidupan bermasyarakat.
