Abstract

Literary works, especially novels, are new prose that tells the story of life journey of the main actor which contains conflict which really attracts the reader's interest so that the reader can understand the message that conveyed by the author. Researchers used the novel 00.00 by Amylia Falensia which tells the story of the life of a girl who always faces tragic sadness and conflict. In this research, the author aims to analyze the positive side, namely the value of character education in the novel 00.00 by Ameylia Falensia. The approach taken in this research is a qualitative approach. Meanwhile, the method used for document analysis is reading the novel repeatedly and marking quotations from the novel 00.00 by Amylia Falensia. The analysis of character education values ​​found are: 1) Religious, 2) Honest, 3) Tolerant, 4) Independent, 5) Democratic, 6) Love peace, 7) Friendly, 8) Social care, 9) Hard work, 10) Responsibility, 11) Creative and 12) Loves reading

Abstract

This study aimed to find out the kinds of swear word that the boy uttered and the reason why he uttered the swear words in Medan. The subject of this research is an Indonesian boy named RAS. He is 7 years old. This research used descriptive qualitative design.  The data was taken from conversation of RAS. The conversation was taken from recording technique and observing technique. The research recorded and observed RAS while played with his friends. The result shows that There are four types of swear word that are found in RAS utterances. They are: Excretory Term (tai, kentut), Body function Term (kepala, pantat), Animal Term (monyet,anjing, babi), Death term (mati). Furthermore, there are three reasons why speakers utter swear words, among others: Power and Control, Humor, and Self- Expression. The findings emphasize that the context in which swearing occurs is essential in understanding why certain words are chosen and what purpose they serve in the conversation.

Abstract

The development of Islamic entrepreneurship in senior high schools (SMA) is a strategic step in building the economic independence of the younger generation and strengthening the local economy based on sharia values. This study aims to analyze the implementation of a community service program in the form of Islamic entrepreneurship training at SMA Al-jamiyatul Washliyah and its impact on increasing students' economic independence and creativity. The research method used a descriptive qualitative approach with observation, interviews, and documentation techniques during the service activities. The results show that the sharia-based entrepreneurship program is able to improve students' understanding of Islamic economic principles, foster an entrepreneurial spirit, and encourage the development of small businesses based on local potential. In addition, this program also has a positive impact on increasing sharia financial literacy and awareness of Islamic business ethics among students. This study concludes that the integration of Islamic entrepreneurship in secondary education plays a crucial role in shaping a young generation that is independent, innovative, and oriented towards sustainable local economic development.
