Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out how much influence digital technology has on economic growth in Java. The method used in this research is using panel data regression. The results of this study indicate that smartphone users, the value of labor e-commerce transactions and the Human Development Index (IPM) have a positive and significant effect on economic growth. The results of the study show that the number of internet users has a negative and significant effect on economic growth.   Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui seberapa besar pengaruh teknologi digital terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi di Pulau Jawa. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu menggunakan regresi data panel. Dari hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa variabel pengguna smartphone, nilai transaksi e-commerce tenaga kerja dan Indeks Pembangunan Manusia (IPM) berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa jumlah pengguna internet negatif dan signifikan berpengaruh terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi.
