Abstract

This study explores the problems and prospects of integrating Artificial Intelligence (AI) in management education, a field that has significantly evolved with technological advancements. AI has the potential to revolutionize management education by enhancing personalized learning, improving administrative efficiency, and providing data-driven decision-making support. However, challenges such as the digital divide, resistance to change among educators, data privacy concerns, and the substantial investments required for technology and training impede its widespread adoption. A mixed-methods approach, combining a literature review and survey, was employed to gather perspectives from the participants, including educators, administrators, and students. The findings reveal that while a major of institutions use AI for management education, significant concerns remain regarding data privacy, algorithmic bias, and the cost of implementation. The study underscores the need for comprehensive training, ethical guidselines, and increased funding to overcome these barriers. By addressing these challenges, management education institutions can effectively leverage AI to enhance learning outcomes, administrative efficiency, and overall educational quality. The paper provides valuable insights for educators, administrators, and policymakers aiming to integrate AI into management education, ensuring a smoother transition and greater acceptance among stakeholders.

Abstract

In today's rapidly evolving and highly competitive business environment, organizations seek sustainable competitive advantages and enhanced performance through strategic management accounting (SMA). This comprehensive literature review explores the tools and techniques of SMA, bridging the gap between financial accounting and strategic decision-making. The study identifies and categorizes a wide range of SMA tools, including activity-based costing, balanced scorecard, value chain analysis, benchmarking, customer accounting and competitor accounting. The review highlights the significance of SMA in aligning financial and non-financial information with strategic objectives, facilitating informed decision-making, and improving organizational competitiveness and financial performance. Key findings emphasize the practical applications of SMA tools across various industries and sectors, as well as the challenges and ambiguities surrounding their impact assessment. The study also identifies gaps in the existing literature, particularly the need for more comprehensive insights into the contextual factors influencing the effectiveness of SMA tools. This review provides valuable insights for scholars, practitioners, and policymakers, offering a foundation for future research and practical guidance on leveraging SMA tools in today's dynamic business landscape.

Abstract

This case study explores the entrepreneurial process behind the establishment and growth of Mithila Thali Restaurant, a culinary venture founded by renowned Chef Santosh Shah. Located in the heart of Nepal, Mithila Thali Restaurant has gained significant recognition for its authentic Mithila cuisine, a traditional food heritage from the Mithila region. The study examines the critical stages of the entrepreneurial journey, including opportunity recognition, business planning, resource mobilization, and strategic execution. Through in-depth interviews with Chef Santosh Shah and key stakeholders, along with a comprehensive analysis of business records and market data, the research highlights the challenges and successes encountered during the restaurant's development. Key findings reveal how Chef Shah leveraged his culinary expertise, cultural heritage, and innovative marketing strategies to create a unique dining experience that appeals to both local and international customers. This case study contributes to the broader understanding of entrepreneurial dynamics in the hospitality industry and provides practical insights for aspiring entrepreneurs aiming to navigate the complexities of starting and sustaining a successful restaurant business.
