Abstract

Dialog(pangalangkara) tari Gambuh pada umumnya memakai Bahasa Kawi dan Bahasa Bali (sor singgih basa) sebagai media ungkap dalam pementasan. Dialog para tokoh tidak berdasarkan teks, melainkan secara improvisasi. Hal ini dilakukan setelah terlebih dahulu pelakunya diberikan gambaran mengenai isi, tema, lakon, jalan cerita serta watak-watak para pemain. Berdasarkan penggunaan bahasanya mempunyai kecenderungan memakai Bahasa Kawi dan Bahasa Bali (sor singgih basa) dipandang perlu untuk mendeskripsikan teks dialog-dialog tari Gambuh supaya gampang untuk mempelajarinya. Kenyataannya sampai saat ini dialog tari Gambuh sulit untuk dipelajari dan sangat penting adanya deskripsi teks dialog-dialog sebagai pedoman pertunjukan Gambuh oleh para seniman sekaligus sebagai pelestarian budaya.Dialogue (pangalangkara)in Gambuh dance that commonly used Kawi and Balinese language (with the rules of sor singgih basa) is revealed media in staging. The dialogue of the characters is not based on the text, but rather improvised. This is done once the characters are given a description of the story contents, themes, storylines and characteristic of each characters. Based on the language usage they have a tendency to use Kawi, and Balinese language (with the rules of sor singgih basa) is deemed necessary to describe the dialogue in Gambuh dance to make it easier in understanding and learning. In fact, until now Gambuh dance dialogue is difficult to learn and it is very important to have a text description of the dialogues as a guide line for Gambuh performances by artists as well as cultural preservation.
