Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of industrial relations and communication on employee effectiveness at the Batun Baru Village Office. In a modern work environment, employee effectiveness plays an important role in achieving organizational goals. Batun Baru Village Office, as a government entity that supports local communities, is also not exempt from challenges related to employee effectiveness. The research method used was quantitative, involving 76 employees as the research sample. The necessary data was collected using questionnaires. Data analysis was then conducted to understand the extent to which industrial relations and communication influence employee effectiveness at Batun Baru Village Office. The results of this study show that there is a significant influence between industrial relations and communication on employee effectiveness at the Batun Baru Village Office. In other words, the better the industrial relations and communication in the work environment, the higher the level of effectiveness that employees can achieve in carrying out their tasks. The implication of this research is the importance of strengthening industrial relations and communication in improving employee effectiveness in the village office environment. Therefore, management at Batun Baru Village Office should pay attention to these aspects and develop strategies to improve industrial relations and communication to create a more efficient and productive work environment.

Abstract

Due to its high regional significance, Tanjung Api-api, currently the mainstay of South Sumatra Province, serves as a focal point for agro-industrial development programs. This research aims to identify the potential for liquid waste pollution in rivers from agro-industries around Tanjung Api-api. This research was carried out through four stages: (a) collecting physical data on land, forests, and rivers in the ecosystem conditions around the industrial area of the Tanjung Api-api area. (b) analyzing data on the physical and chemical parameters of the Telang River, (c) analyzing several physical and chemical parameters of Telang River water, (d) obtaining data on the physical and chemical parameters of liquid waste in the influent and effluent of several WWTP agro-industries in the Gasing area that have been operating. Water quality measurements were conducted in the Telang and Gasing rivers. The parameters measured and observed were TSS, pH, BOD, COD, and fatty oil parameters, respectively, once in the afternoon and evening during high and low tide, at three points: downstream, middle, and upstream. The results showed that the physical, organic, and inorganic chemical parameters in the Telang River were still below the BMLC threshold. The quantity and quality of industrial wastewater in Gasing are still below the BMLC standard for each industry but are almost close to the established quality standards. It is recommended to utilize the sludge into something more valuable, considering that the TSS produced from sludge dewatering is relatively high.

Abstract

Sumber daya manusia yang ada di perusahaan salah satunya adalah karyawan atau pegawai. Karyawan atau pegawai yang dapat di kelola dengan baik dan benar oleh perusahaan akan memeberikan keuntuangan terhadap perusahaan seperti misalnya visi dan misi perusahaan tercapai dengan baik, memperoleh keuntungan finansial sesuai target, serta pangsa pasar perusahaan meningkat di bandingkan dengan para pesaingnya. Dalam Penelitian ini dimana penulis menetapkan objek yang di jadikan penelitian adalah Hagy Express yang beralamat Jl. Mayor H. Husin R. Taranggano, Griya Interbis Indah Tahap IV Blok BB 01 RT. 85/05 Talang Kelapa Palembang 30151. Waktu yang di gunakan dalam penelitian ini selama bulan Maret 2022, sampai April 2022, di mulai dengan pengambilan data pertama mengenai sejarah dan gambaran umum perusahaan, mempelajari proses kerja perusahaan, pengambilan data perusahaan yang berupa dokumen atau data pencapaian karyawan (pengangkutan) tahun 2022, menyebar kuesioner penelitian, dan sampai tahap akhir yaitu pengambilan hasil kuesioner dan pengolahan data penelitian. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data tentang pengaruh variabel bebas (disiplin kerja dan motivasi) terhadap variabel terikat (Produktivitas Kerja Karyawan di Hagy Express) dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa dengan menggunakan analisis regresi linear berganda dalam menganalisa data.
