Abstract

The digital era is a period that has experienced developments in all aspects of everyday life. Besides the development of the digital era, there is a phenomenon that needs to be realized regarding disruption, which is a change that is no longer linear. This Disruption Era has an influence on the rapid changes in human needs, so to be able to continue to survive in this era it is necessary to have the resilience to adapt to events and problems in life. Sprint Think currently has a Design Thinking Workshop service that can help students learn Design Thinking through the Design Sprint method. Based on the problems above, the authors found that the purpose of this study was to find out whether the Design Thinking Workshop service could help groups of SMK students in solving existing problems using a Creative, Innovative and Critical Thinking approach in groups with output prototypes from problem solving ideas which are innovation programs. To find validation for the problems above, the authors used an experimental method on 15 groups consisting of 100 vocational students from different classes. The author finds the conclusion that the Design Thinking Workshop has an effect on solving existing problems with the concrete form of making prototypes as evidence.
