<![CDATA[ABSTRACT Cats are animals that are often kept either kept in the house or left free in the yard of the residence. Cats are often attacked by viruses which can cause the body to become weak and lethargic, so blood tests are needed. The aim of this study was to determine the blood profile of cat (Felis catus) patients affected by leukopenia and anemia at the UPTD of the West Sumatra Veterinary Hospital. The research method used was data collection from the results of hematological examinations of the blood of cat patients at the West Sumatra Veterinary Hospital Laboratory starting from 19 June - 21 July 2023. Cat blood samples taken came from various breeds and genders without age restrictions. Based on the research carried out, the results showed that there were 8 cats affected by leukopenia and 8 cats affected by anemia. This disease is caused by a virus, where anemia is caused by the Feline Infectious Peritonitis (FIP) virus and the virus that causes leukopenia is the feline panleukopenia virus. ABSTRAK Kucing merupakan hewan yang sering dipelihara baik dipelihara dalam rumah maupun dibiarkan bebas di pekarangan tempat tinggal. Kucing seringkali terkena serangan virus yang dapat menyebabkan tubuh menjadi lemah dan lesu sehingga perlu dilakukannya pemeriksaan darah. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui profil darah pasien kucing (Felis catus) yang terkena leukopenia dan anemia di UPTD Rumah Sakit Hewan Sumatera Barat. Metode penelitian yang digunakan berupa pengumpulan data dari hasil pemeriksaan hematologi darah pasien-pasien kucing di Laboratorium Rumah Sakit Hewan Sumatera Barat mulai dari tanggal 19 Juni – 21 Juli 2023. Sampel darah kucing yang diambil berasal dari berbagai ras dan jenis kelamin tanpa batasan umur. Berdasarkan penelitian yang dilakukan diperoleh hasil bahwa terdapat 8 ekor kucing yang terkena leukopenia dan 8 ekor kucing yang terkena anemia. Penyakit ini disebabkan oleh virus, dimana anemia disebabkan virus Feline Infectious Peritonitis (FIP) dan virus yang menyebabkan leukopenia adalah Feline panleukopenia virus.]]>
