Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to find out relationship between self efficacy and proactive coping on students are writing essay in study program information systems faculty of technology computer science in University of Prima Indonesia Medan. The hypothesis of this study states that there is a positive correlation between self efficacy and proactive coping, assuming that the higher self efficacy, the higher will proactive coping be and conversely the lower the self efficacy the lower will proactive coping be. The subjects of this study were 101 students at Faculty of Technology and Computer Science University of Prima Indonesia selected by purposive sampling method. Data were obtained from a scale to measure self efficacy and proactive coping. The calculation was performed by means of testing requirements analysis (assumption), which consists of normality test for distribution and linearity test for relationships. The data analysis used is Product Moment Correlation with SPSS 17 for Windows. The results of data analysis showed that the correlation coefficient was 0.506 with p 0.000 (p <0.05). It shows that there is a positive relationship between self efficacy and proactive coping. These results indicate that the contribution of a given variable of self efficacy to proactive coping is at 26 percent, while the remaining 74 percent is influenced by other factors not examined. From these results, it is concluded that the hypothesis stating that there is a positive correlation between self efficacy and proactive coping is acceptable. Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menjelaskan pengaruh lingkungan belajar, motivasi guru dan perhatian orang tua terhadap prestasi belajar IPS. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kuantitatif. Variabel dalam penelitian ini adalah lingkungan belajar, motivasi guru, perhatian orang tua, dan prestasi belajar IPS. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa Kelas IV Sekolah Dasar di Gugus Kalpataru, Kecamatan Gebang Kabupaten Purworejo sebanyak 175 siswa. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah propotional random sampling dengan jumlah sampel mencapai 119 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket dan dokumentasi. Analisis yang digunakan adalah analisa regresi linear berganda. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian disimpulkan bahwa: (1) Ada pengaruh positif lingkungan belajar terhadap prestasi belajar IPS sebesar 10,99%. (2) Ada pengaruh positif motivasi guru terhadap prestasi belajar IPS sebesar 10,31%. (3) Ada pengaruh positif perhatian orang tua terhadap prestasi belajar IPS sebesar 7,76%. (4) Ada pengaruh positif lingkungan belajar, motivasi guru dan perhatian orang tua secara bersama-sama terhadap prestasi belajar IPS sebesar 29,05%.Kata Kunci: lingkungan belajar, motivasi guru, perhatian orang tua, dan prestasi belajar IPS.The purpose of this study is to explain the influence of the learning environment, teacher motivation and parents' attention on the learning achievement of social. This research uses quantitative research. The variables in this study are the learning environment, teacher motivation, parents' attention, and social studies learning achievement. The population in this study were all Class IV Elementary School students in the Kalpataru Cluster, Gebang District, Purworejo Regency as many as 175 students. The sampling technique used was proportional random sampling with a total sample of 119 people. Data collection techniques using questionnaires and documentation. The analysis used is multiple linear regression analysis. Based on the results of the study it was concluded that: (1) There was a positive influence of the learning environment on the social learning achievement by 10.99%. (2) There is a positive influence of teacher motivation on Social Studies learning achievement by 10.31%. (3) There is a positive influence of parents' attention on social studies learning achievement by 7.76%. (4) There is a positive influence of the learning environment, teacher motivation and parents' attention together to the social learning achievement by 29.05%.Keywords: learning environment, teacher motivation, parents' attention, and social studies learning achievement.
