Abstract

Poverty is a situation where individuals or groups are unable to meet their basic needs to maintain and improve a dignified life. The education index has a significant relationship with economic growth. Poverty can negatively impact economic growth, as it can hinder people's access to quality education. Over a specified period, economic growth reflects continuous changes in a country's economic conditions towards a more sustainable and improved state. The method used in this research is the descriptive method. From the significant correlation results (Sig.(2-tailed)), the probability figure for GDP is 0 > 0.05, for Poverty (X1) the probability is 0.939 > 0.05 which correlates with GDP (Y), and for the Education Index (X2) the probability is 0.637 > 0.05 which also correlates with GDP (Y). This indicates that there is a significant correlation between poverty and the education index with economic growth.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of exchange rates and raw material prices on the export of the apparel industry in Indonesia. The research method used is quantitative with a multiple regression analysis approach using time series data for the 2012-2023 period. The independent variable in this study is the Rupiah exchange rate and the price of raw materials, and the dependent variable is the Export Value of the Textile Industry. The data comes from official sources such as the Central Statistics Agency, Bank Indonesia, and the Ministry of Trade. The results of the study show that the rupiah exchange rate has a significant effect on apparel exports, and the price of raw materials has a significant effect on the export value of apparel. This study provides important implications for policy-making and strategies for the development of the apparel export industry in Indonesia. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh nilai tukar dan harga bahan baku terhadap ekspor industri pakaian jadi di Indonesia. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan pendekatan analisis regresi berganda dengan menggunakan data time series periode 2012-2023. Variabel independen dalam penelitian ini adalah nilai tukar Rupiah dan harga bahan baku, dan variabel dependennya adalah Nilai Ekspor Industri Tekstil. Data berasal dari sumber resmi seperti Badan Pusat Statistik, Bank Indonesia, dan Kementerian Perdagangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai tukar rupiah berpengaruh signifikan terhadap ekspor pakaian jadi, dan harga bahan baku berpengaruh signifikan terhadap nilai ekspor pakaian jadi. Kajian ini memberikan implikasi penting bagi pengambilan kebijakan dan strategi pengembangan industri ekspor pakaian jadi di Indonesia.
