Abstract

Measurement, assessment and evaluation themselves have similarities, but in essence measurement, assessment and evaluation are quite different in terms of their application. In this article, we discuss the nature of evaluation (meaning measurement, assessment, evaluation; function & purpose of assessment, characteristics of educational assessment). The approach used is through a literature review, by collecting data from various scientific sources such as journals, scientific articles, books and other relevant information related to the topic. The data obtained was then analyzed qualitatively, and the results of the analysis were presented systematically and objectively by the author. It is concluded that measurement, assessment and evaluation have their respective roles in the world of education and are mutually binding, such as measurement in the world of education can be carried out with various tests which will later produce grades. From this score, the teacher will pay attention to whether the student should get additional help or not. And this is an evaluation in education.

Abstract

Nowadays, with the rapid development of technology and information such as online media and the internet, everything can now be accessed through gadgets, including information that supports student learning activities. Even now with the development of technology, gadget users can now access a variety of information. Online media itself was born in 1990 because of the advantages of internet media. There are several factors that improve student learning achievement, not only gadget competition, but there is one important factor, namely the motivation factor. Psychological factors play a very important role for students where this motivation plays a role. Because of its important role in learning, namely as a motivator or stimulant for the soul of the person who carries out learning activities, learning motivation is one of the factors that exist in a person who motivates a person to carry out a learning activity. a motivator. Doing something optimally to achieve the maximum results you want to achieve.
