<![CDATA[Abstrak Penelitian ini berfokus pada upaya rekayasa ulang proses inisiasi proyek pengadaan InstalasiPengolahan Air Limbah (IPAL) berbasis teknologi plasma di PT Wiraga. PT Wiraga adalahperusahaan yang bergerak di bidang manufaktur dan teknologi lingkungan, yang menghadapitantangan pada tahap inisiasi proyek yang ternyata memerlukan waktu lebih lama dari yangdirencanakan. Tahap inisiasi yang lambat ini berpotensi menurunkan efisiensi proyek secarakeseluruhan, mengingat perbedaan signifikan antara bobot rencana dan realisasi dalam kurva Sproyek, dengan perbedaan rata-rata sebesar 7,41%. Untuk mengatasi masalah ini, penelitian inimenggunakan pendekatan Business Process Reengineering (BPR), sebuah metode yang bertujuanuntuk melakukan perbaikan proses bisnis secara mendasar dan radikal. Melalui pendekatan BPR,penelitian ini mengidentifikasi berbagai faktor penyebab inefisiensi dalam proses inisiasi proyek yangada, seperti ketergantungan pada prosedur manual, kurangnya digitalisasi, dan adanya aktivitas yangtidak memberikan nilai tambah. Model proses bisnis yang ada (As-Is) dianalisis, kemudian dilakukanperancangan model baru (To-Be) menggunakan software Igrafx. Model To-Be yang dihasilkanmencakup penerapan sistem informasi manajemen, penggabungan aktivitas dan mengeliminasiaktivitas yang tidak memberikan nilai tambah. Dengan perbaikan yang diusulkan, perusahaan dapatmemotong waktu proses inisiasi sebesar 38,42%..Kata Kunci: Business Process Reengineering, Model As-Is, Model To-Be, Sistem InformasiManajemen Abstract [Reengineering the Project Initiation Process for IPAL Procurement Using a Business ProcessReengineering Approach at PT Wiraga] This research focuses on the reengineering efforts of theproject initiation process for the procurement of Plasma Technology-based Wastewater TreatmentPlants (IPAL) at PT Wiraga. PT Wiraga is a company engaged in manufacturing and environmentaltechnology, facing challenges during the project initiation phase, which took longer than initiallyplanned. This delayed initiation phase has the potential to reduce the overall efficiency of the project,as evidenced by the significant discrepancy between the planned and actual progress on the project'sS-curve, with an average deviation of 7.41%. To address this issue, this research employs the BusinessProcess Reengineering (BPR) approach, a method aimed at fundamentally and radically improvingbusiness processes. Through the BPR approach, this study identifies various factors contributing toinefficiencies in the existing project initiation process, such as reliance on manual procedures, lack ofdigitalization, and activities that do not add value. The existing business process model (As-Is) isanalyzed, followed by the design of a new model (To-Be) using Igrafx software. The resulting To-Bemodel includes the implementation of a management information system, the consolidation of activities,and the elimination of non-value-addedactivities.
