Abstract

AbstrakDunia industri saat ini sedang berkembang, yang mana telah meningkatkan daya saing di dalam dunia industri itu sendiri, khususnya pada industri pembuatan sepatu. PT. Pratama Abadi Industri, perusahaan yang memproduksi sepatuiolahraga NIKE, bermasalah dengan kualitas. Secara khusus, masih banyak kekurangan dalam proses produksi departemen assembly. Berdasarkaniperhitungan nilaiirata-rata DPMO (defectsiper millioniopportunities) dan nilaiirata-rata sigmaipada bulan Oktober – Desember 2020 berturutturutisebesar 17923,14 dan 3.5987. Indeks kapabilitas proses (Cpk) produksinya sebesar 0,69936. Tujuan dari penelitian iniiadalahimenurunkan jumlah defect pada produksi sepatu departemen assembly PT Pratama Abadi Industri denganimenggunakan Sixisigma melaluiitahapan Define,iMeasure,iAnalyze, Improve,idaniControl (DMAIC). Saran perbaikanidianalisis menggunakan fishbone diagram.Kata kunci: Defect, DMAIC, Sport Shoes, Six sigmaAbstractThe industrial world is currently developing, which has increased competitiveness in the industrial world itself, especially in the shoe manufacturing industry. PT. Pratama Abadi Industri, a company that manufactures NIKE sports shoes, has a problem with quality. In particular, there are still many deficiencies in the assembly process of the production department. Based on the calculation of the average DPMO value (defects per million opportunities) and the average sigma value in October - December 2020, respectively, 17923.14 and 3.5987. Its production process capability index (Cpk) is 0.69936. The purpose of this research is to reduce the number of defects in the shoe production assembly department of PT Pratama Abadi Industri by using Six sigma through the Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, and Control (DMAIC) stages. Suggestions for improvement are analyzed using a fishbone diagram.Keywords: Defect, DMAIC, Sport Shoes, Six sigma
