<![CDATA[AbstrakDalam menjaga kelancaran proses produksi perlu dilakukan pemeliharaan mesin–mesin produksi agarmesin memiliki performa yang optimal. Salah satu kegiatan pemeliharaan mesin adalah penggantian danpengisian consumable part. PT Phapros Tbk merupakan sebuah Perusahaan BUMN yang bergerak dalamproduksi obat – obatan. Proses produksi di PT Phapros dilakukan dengan mesin – mesin yang sudahterstandar industri farmasi. Terdapat sebuah permasalahan dalam kegiatan pemenuhan persediaanconsumable part yaitu proses manajemen persediaan consumable part yang belum optimal. Denganpermasalahan tersebut maka dilakukan penelitian untuk mencapai proses manajemen persediaanconsumable part yang optimal. Terdapat empat pendekatan yang digunakan dalam proses manajemenpersediaan consumable part di PT Phapros Tbk. Pendekatan pertama adalah metode forecasting yangdigunakan untuk meramalkan kebutuhan consumable part untuk 12 periode kedepan. Pendekatan keduayang digunakan adalah menentukan safety stock yang berupa jumlah persediaan pengaman untukconsumable part agar mampu menanggulangi keadaan ekstrem pada penggunaan dan persediaan.Pendekatan ketiga adalah menghitung reorder point yang digunakan untuk menentukan kapan PT PhaprosTbk melakukan pemesanan kembali terhadap consumable part. Pendekatan terakhir yang dilakukan adalahmenghitung order quantity untuk menentukan jumlah optimal consumable part yang perlu dipesan untukmemenuhi kebutuhan dalam sekali pemesanan.Kata kunci: Manajemen Persediaan, Forecasting, Safety Stock, Reorder Point, Order Quantity Abstract[Planning the Number of Consumable Parts using the Forecasting Method, Determining Safety Stock,Determining Re-Order Points and Determining Order Quantity at PT Phapros TBK] In maintaining thesmooth running of the production process, it is necessary to maintain production machines so that themachines have optimal performance. One of the machine maintenance activities is the replacement andfilling of consumable parts. PT Phapros Tbk is a state-owned company engaged in the production ofmedicines. The production process at PT Phapros is carried out by machines that are standardized by thepharmaceutical industry. There is a problem in the activity of fulfilling consumable part inventory, namelythe consumable part inventory management process that is not optimal. With these problems, research iscarried out to achieve an optimal consumable part inventory management process. There are fourapproaches used in the consumable part inventory management process at PT Phapros Tbk. The firstapproach is the forecasting method which is used to predict the need for consumable parts for the next 12periods. The second approach used is to determine safety stock, which is the amount of safety stock forconsumable parts in order to be able to cope with extreme conditions in use and supply. The third approachis to calculate the re-order point which is used to determine when PT Phapros Tbk reorders consumableparts.
