Abstract

Morals are an essential discussion to consider as the basis for forming a perfect human being. Ibnu Miskawaih is a Muslim intellectual with views on forming morals. This research examines the concept of Ibnu Miskawaih's moral formation as a religious-rational Muslim intellectual seen through the lens of Behaviorist learning theory. This article uses the library research method, relying on primary and secondary library data. The data analysis technique used by researchers in this research is the content analysis method. The research results explain that the formation of Ibn Miskawaih's morals has several conformities in the Behaviorism theory perspective: 1) The formation process requires the help of environmental conditioning. 2) Formation through effort or process (iktisab) to achieve the desired results and goals. 3) The formation method requires positive reinforcement to increase the strength of the response. 4) The concept of formation through continuous practice and habituation until it can produce the desired results. AbstrakAkhlak menjadi pembahasan yang penting untuk diperhatikan sebagai dasar terbentuknya manusia yang sempurna. Ibnu Miskawaih salah satu intelektual muslim yang memiliki pandangan mengenai pembentukan akhlak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menelaah tentang konsep pembentukan akhlak Ibnu Miskawaih sebagai intelektual muslim religius-rasional dilihat melalui kacamata teori belajar behaviorisme. Artikel ini menggunakan metode library research mengandalkan data-data pustaka baik primer maupun sekunder. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan oleh peneliti dalam penelitian ini yaitu dengan metode analisis isi (content analysis). Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh menjelaskan bahwa pembentukan akhlak Ibnu Miskawaih memiliki beberapa kesesuaian dalam perspektif teori behaviorisme, yaitu: 1) Proses pembentukan memerlukan bantuan pengkondisian lingkungan. 2) Pembentukan melalui usaha atau proses (iktisab) untuk mencapai hasil dan tujuan yang diinginkan. 3) Cara pembentukan membutuhkan penguatan yang positif untuk meningkatkan kekuatan respon. 4) Konsep pembentukan melalui latihan dan pembiasaan secara berkelanjutan hingga mampu memberi hasil yang diinginkan.

Abstract

The Islamic Religious Education policies is basically clearly stated in Pancasila and the 1945 Constitution, which the government then reviews and implements in all its development processes. This research aims to find out and analyze the implementation of Islamic Religious Education policies in schools which includes a brief history of Islamic Religious Education policies in schools, scope of data, implementation efforts, and problems and solutions. This research uses library research methods taken from various primary and secondary sources. The results of this research are: 1) Islamic Religious Education policies in schools are part of the national education system whose implementation is regulated by the National Education System Law Number 20 of 2003, Government Regulation Number 55 of 2007, and Law of 1950 Chapter XII Article 20 Paragraph 1. 2) Current implementation of Islamic Religious Education in schools is a subject that is required to be held in schools, both state and private schools and is applied at all levels. 3) The main problem with Islamic Religious Education policies in schools is that the time allocation is very low, requiring teachers to be able to convey the material completely and comprehensively through several activities outside of class
