Abstract

Kemajuan teknologi, terutama dalam bidang elektronika dan komunikasi, telah membawa dampak signifikan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) muncul sebagai teknologi yang memungkinkan pengiriman suara, video, dan data melalui jaringan Internet Protocol (IP). VoIP menonjol dengan efisiensi biaya, kemudahan penggunaan, integrasi dengan aplikasi lain, dan beragam fitur termasuk email, video conference, dan chat. Berebeda dengan sosial media lain yang membawa identitas pribadi, tetapi VoIP membawa identitas perusahaan yang bebas digunakan secara gratis. Evolusi terus-menerus dalam VoIP memberikan pengalaman komunikasi yang lebih kaya dengan penambahan fitur-fitur baru. Fleksibilitas VoIP memungkinkan mobilitas dan akses yang mudah terhadap layanan komunikasi. Quality of Service (QoS) menjadi aspek kritis dalam menjaga kualitas layanan VoIP, dengan parameter seperti throughput, packet loss, delay, dan jitter. Monitoring QoS dilakukan secara real-time untuk mengevaluasi performa jaringan dengan indikator kategori untuk setiap parameter. FreePBX, sebagai platform open source berbasis GUI, menyediakan kontrol yang efisien terhadap Asterisk (PBX) dalam lingkungan VoIP. Fitur-fitur seperti extension dan conference memungkinkan pengaturan panggilan yang efisien. Penelitian ini melibatkan studi literatur, analisis kebutuhan, desain arsitektur jaringan, implementasi menggunakan FreePBX, dan uji coba menggunakan aplikasi Zoiper. Uji coba menunjukkan perbedaan fungsionalitas dan kebutuhan bandwidth pada fitur-fitur FreePBX seperti extension, conference, chat, dan videocall. Kondisi jaringan dan QoS perlu dimonitor secara cermat untuk memastikan kualitas layanan VoIP yang optimal. Hasil penelitian ini dapat menjadi panduan bagi pengembang dan administrator jaringan dalam meningkatkan dan memelihara sistem VoIP.

Abstract

This systematic literature review analyzes the management of Islamic Religious Education (Pendidikan Agama Islam/PAI) learning in Integrated Islamic Elementary Schools (Sekolah Dasar Islam Terpadu/SDIT) in Indonesia as a strategic mechanism for constructing substantive religious culture amid the challenges of globalization and secularization. Employing thematic content analysis of sources from Scopus, Google Scholar, DOAJ, and institutional repositories (2010–2025), the study synthesizes evidence on how religious culture is constructed through habituation practices (such as congregational prayers and tadarus), the benefits of PAI learning management (including strengthened discipline and emotional resilience through optimized resource use), and key challenges (such as deficits in teacher training, digital distractions, and gaps in Merdeka Curriculum integration). The findings show that structured PAI management functions—planning, organizing, actuating, and controlling—serve to bridge sharia principles with modern pedagogy, fostering holistic character formation while addressing tendencies toward exclusivism and responding to infrastructural constraints through solutions such as blended learning, professional development workshops, and parental collaboration. Theoretically, the study advances Islamic education discourse by hybridizing a tawhid-based habitus with contemporary educational models; practically, it offers policy-oriented insights for SDIT leaders and for Indonesia’s Ministries of Religious Affairs and Education. The review recommends that future empirical research validate these conclusions using mixed-methods designs in diverse institutional contexts to assess the long-term impact of PAI learning management on students’ religious identity.

Abstract

This study examines how emotional expression is represented in the song “Double Take” by Dhruv through a discourse analysis approach. The research focuses on four linguistic features; diction, metaphor, pronoun usage, and repetition and analyzes how these elements help convey emotional meaning in the lyrics. Using a qualitative descriptive method, the study analyzes official song lyrics as the primary data. The data were collected through documentation and interpreted using an interactive analysis model supported by theories from Geoffrey Leech, George Lakoff, Mark Johnson, Norman Fairclough, and Deborah Tannen. The findings identify 12 expressions of emotion represented through the four linguistic features. The study shows that diction reflects emotional honesty, longing, and inner conflict, while metaphors transform abstract feelings into imaginative expressions. Pronoun usage highlights interpersonal relationships and personal perspectives, and repetition strengthens emotional intensity and uncertainty. These linguistic features create complex emotional meanings, including vulnerability, obsession, and ambiguity. This analysis finds that emotional expression in song lyrics is shaped by the interaction of multiple linguistic elements rather than isolated features alone. The research contributes to discourse analysis by offering a better understanding of how language expresses subtle emotions in contemporary music and may serve as a reference for future studies in linguistics and literary analysis.

Abstract

This study examines how women's language features and gossip function as communicative strategies in the performance of gender identity in contemporary media discourse. Drawing on sociolinguistic frameworks proposed by Lakoff, Holmes, Bucholtz and Hall, Eckert and McConnell-Ginet, McAndrew, and Butler's gender performativity theory, this study analyzes Millie Bobby Brown's utterances in The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. A qualitative descriptive method was employed, with data collected through purposive sampling of conversational segments containing women's language features and gossip instances. The analysis identified 21 instances of women's language features, including intensifiers, hedges, empty adjectives, politeness forms, and emotional expressions, alongside five instances of gossip serving social bonding, entertainment, and reputation management functions. The findings indicate that these linguistic features do not reflect powerlessness or negative stereotypes; rather, they function as context-dependent performative resources through which the speaker constructs a warm, expressive, and socially engaged gender identity before a mass audience. This study contributes to sociolinguistic research by demonstrating that women's language and gossip are dynamic communicative practices actively employed in the performance of gender in contemporary talk show discourse.
