Abstract

Coughing is a reflex that is stimulated by irritation of the lungs or respiratory tract. The aim of this research is to determine the benefits of herbal medicinal plants for curing coughs and flu and aims to reveal and convey the types/species of plants used in treating coughs and flu. The method used for literature studies is an article review by searching several national published journals via the database: Google Scholar. The keywords used are "herbal medicinal plants", "cough and flu". Journals published are in the 2020-2024 range (5 years). Full-text research journal: Indonesian Language Journal and produced 6 journals. Next, the inclusion criteria are Indonesian herbal medicinal plants that provide healing effects against coughs and flu. Exclusion criteria, namely plants that can cause allergies or interactions with other drugs. Several herbal medicinal plants can cure coughs and flu. Ginger, known to the public as (Zingiber officinale Roscoe), is a type of plant that is widely used in making medicinal concoctions which people believe can relieve symptoms of colds, flu and coughs.

Abstract

Diabetes mellitus (DM) is a disease whose prevalence is increasing from year to year. The World Health Organization (WHO) predicts an increase in the number of diabetes patients in Indonesia from 8.4 million in 2000 to around 21.3 million in 2030. This research aims to summarize herbal plants that have been proven to have an effect on diabetes mellitus sufferers so that they can serve as a guide. for treatment of diabetes sufferers and can be used as a reference for researchers who want to research herbal plants to treat diabetes mellitus. The method used for literature studies is an article review by searching several national and international journal publications via the Google Scholar database. Based on literature studies, it is known that several plants in Indonesia have been proven to help treat diabetes mellitus because these plants contain flavonoids, polyphenols and tannins which can help lower blood sugar for diabetes sufferers.

Abstract

Audit Compensation Audits cause operational activities and hospital financial systems to become disrupted and unstable. Based on a preliminary survey at the Hospital, this research aims to analyze Compensation Audit cases carried out by health insurance providers in 2023. The type of research used is Mixed Method, namely a research approach that combines or links qualitative and quantitative forms. This research was conducted in January – June 2024. The research population was 5 compensation audit cases in 2023. In-depth analysis was carried out on 5 compensation audit cases based on analysis of medical resumes, related regulations and based on ICD-10 and ICD-9-CM coding rules. Compensation Audit Case Solution, namely coders must understand medical records, claim submission documents, ICD-10, ICD-9 CM coding rules, BPJS and hospital PPK claims regulations, doctors need to provide clear, specific management and be able to know the patient's condition. treatment class from the start of admission and the health insurance verifier must have the same perception as the previous verifier and be careful in reading and analyzing claim submission documents.

Abstract

The process of a wound occurs, namely that blood will come out through the wound, then blood platelets touch the surface of the wound and then release thrombokinase, assisted by calcium ions, which will convert prothrombin into thrombin. Aim of this research to find out the benefits of medicinal plants that have the potential to heal open wounds that often occur in children, and aims to reveal and convey the types/species of plants used in treating open wounds. Method article review by searching several national and international journal publications via the database: Google Scholar. The keywords used are "Indonesian medicinal plants", and "open wounds". Journals published are in the 2013-2023 range (10 years). Based on the results obtained 5 journals regarding in vivo studies of Indonesian herbal plants taken from the leaves, extracts, and sap used as medicine for healing open wounds, secondary metabolite compounds such as flavonoids, tannins, alkaloids, saponins, phenols, steroids, triterpenoids play a role in providing healing effect on open wounds. Conclusion: Several traditional Indonesian medicinal plants have the potential to heal open wounds. Flavonoids are a type of antioxidant that is widely contained in chocolate. Antioxidants themselves work to ward off free radicals in the body. The part of the plant that is often used as herbal medicine in healing wounds is the leaves.
