Abstract

This research examines the influence of the school environment on the formation of students' characters. Character education fundamentally involves modifying students' self-development with a clear goal for educational institutions. Schools, generally or broadly defined to include family climate and regional context in character formation, emphasize the development of a strict belief system, unparalleled cultural norms, and a sense of authority, while simultaneously fostering resilience and common personal traits among students. One objective of this study is to describe the character formation of class students. The researcher used a quantitative approach, specifically explanatory and documentation research types. The research findings, examined through calculations of variables X and Y using SPSS in the madrasah environment, indicate that the School Environment correlates with Student Character Formation (since Sig = 0.000, which is < 0.05, hence Ha is accepted). The calculated correlation coefficient (R) of 0.552 > the table value of 0.270 indicates a very strong correlation between peer socialization and learning motivation.

Abstract

Variation method is a teaching method that uses more than one method. This variation method is very helpful in the learning process, especially in Islamic religious education subjects, because according to the teacher of the Aqidah Akhlak subject at MA Midanutta'lim Jogoroto Jombang. when using this method in the learning process, the material is centralized and focused on the teacher. However, in this case, students do not only listen, but in the middle of the learning process the teacher interacts with students by asking questions when the teacher has finished explaining the material. Based on the results of the research and discussion that have been presented previously, the following conclusions can be drawn: The application of a variety of methods in Islamic religious learning has a positive impact on students' interest, involvement, and understanding. To maximize the results, it is important to continue to improve supporting facilities, teacher training, and time and class management so that Islamic religious learning is more effective and enjoyable for students. Significant supporting factors in this study include support from the school, active teacher involvement, and high student interest in variations in learning methods. Meanwhile, the main inhibiting factors are related to time constraints, classroom management, limited facilities, and resistance to change faced by some teachers and students. To maximize the application of a variety of methods in Islamic religious learning, more efficient time management is needed.

Abstract

Motivation is one of the important factors that influence learning. Someone who has high motivation tends to devote all their abilities to get optimal learning achievement. The strength and weakness of each individual's motivation are different, it is influenced by internal and external factors. This study aims to find out and analyze the influence of Learning Motivation on Fiqh Subjects of Class VII Students of Mts Salafiyah Syafi'iyah Tebuireng Diwek Jombang. Quantitative approach with ex post facto research type which took place at MTs Salafiyah Syafi'iyah Tebuireng. The data collection technique used was by collecting data from questionnaires and report cards. The sample in this study was 55 students as respondents, using probability sampling using simple random sampling techniques and using data analysis techniques with simple linear regression tests. The influence of Motivation on Fiqh Subjects of Salafiyah Syafi'iyah Tebuireng students in understanding fiqh material is very significant. This is indicated by the significance value of the F test of 0.005, which is less than 0.05, so Ho is rejected and HA is accepted. In addition, the calculated F value of 8.855 is greater than the F table value (3.23), which also supports the conclusion that there is a significant influence.
