Abstract

Abstrak Kasus balita stunting terbesar di Jawa Tengah pada tahun 2022 berada di Kabupaten Brebes (29,1%). Permasalahan penelitian adalah bagaimana pengalaman ibu balita stunting terkait perceived barriers perilaku pencegahan stunting dengan pendekatan kualitatif, desain grounded theory. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menggali pengalaman ibu balita stunting terkait perceived barriers perilaku pencegahan stunting dengan pendekatan kualitatif, desain grounded theory. Metode sampling yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling dan didapatkan 6 partisipan. Pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik indepth interview dan pedoman wawancara semi-terstruktur. Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah metode colaizzi. Penelitian ini menghasilkan hambatan ASI Eksklusif, asupan gizi, asupan air putih, sumber air bersih, kepemilikan jamban, kelayakan jamban, perilaku BAB, imunisasi, akses pelayanan kesehatan, dan akses pendidikan pola pengasuhan. Kesimpulan: Beragam faktor yang menciptakan hambatan terhadap perilaku pencegahan stunting di Brebes memerlukan pendekatan multifaset seperti pemerintah dan masyarakat luas yang melibatkan keluarga, masyarakat setempat, tenaga kesehatan, psikolog anak, dan pelayanan kesehatan untuk mengatasi hambatan perilaku pencegahan stunting tersebut. Kata kunci: Perceived Barriers, Pencegahan, Stunting Abstract The largest stunting toddler case in Central Java in 2022 will be in Brebes Regency (29.1%). The research problem is how is the experience of stunting mothers related to perceived barriers to stunting prevention behavior with a qualitative approach, grounded theory design. The purpose of this study was to explore the experiences of mothers with stunting related to perceived barriers to stunting prevention behavior using a qualitative approach, grounded theory design. The sampling method used was purposive sampling and 6 participants were obtained. Data collection uses in-depth interview techniques and semi-structured interview guidelines. The analytical method used is the Colaizzi method. This research resulted in barriers to exclusive breastfeeding, nutritional intake, water intake, clean water sources, latrine ownership, latrine feasibility, defecation behavior, immunization, access to health services, and access to parenting education. Conclusion: The various factors that create obstacles to stunting prevention behavior in Brebes require a multifaceted approach such as the government and the wider community involving families, local communities, health workers, child psychologists, and health services to overcome these stunting prevention behavior barriers.
