Abstract

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bentuk, makna, dan fungsi keris tatarapang Kesultanan Bima serta sistem pewarisannya. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan survei deskriptif, yakni penelitian yang secara utuh terfokus pada objek yang diteliti dan menggambarkannya secara detail. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa bentuk utuh keris tatarapang Kesultanan Bima yaitu terdiri dari tiga rangkaian komponen utama yaitu uru (gagang), lapi (sarung) dan bila (bilah). Keseluruhan bilah keris tatarapang semuanya bergelombang, ada sebagian yang berpamor dan sebagian juga tidak berpamor. Makna simbolik keris tatarapang dapat ditinjau dari aspek bentuk, aspek warna material dan aspek penempatan. Makna yang terkonfirmasi dalam aspek bentuk meliputi bentuk ragam hias, bentuk bilah berluk dan bentuk pamor. Sedangkan makna keris tatarapang pada aspek warna material meliputi material emas dan material batu permata. Kemudian dari aspek penempatan meliputi posisi penempatan motif hias sang Bima pada gagang keris. Segala aspek yang disebutkan tersebut memiliki makna dan simbol perlambangan tertentu.. Disamping itu terkait fungsi keris tatarapang secara garis besar dikelompokkan menjadi tiga fungsi dasar yaitu fungsi teknomik, fungsi sosial dan fungsi religius. Fungsi teknomik digunakan sebagai senjata tikam, fungsi sosial keris tatarapang dijadikan sebagai penanda status jabatan pada kalangan pejabat kesultanan, kemudian untuk fungsi religus keris tatarapang lebih condong digunakan sebagai alat upacara keagaaman. Teruntuk sistem pewarisan bahwasannya keris tatarapang menggunakan tiga jenis sistem pewarisan yaitu sistem pewarisan tertutup melalui pertalian darah, sistem pewarisan terbuka melalui jalur rekomendasi dan sistem pewarisan kolektif. ABSTRACTThis research aims to describe the form, meaning and function of the Bima Sultanate keris tatarapang and its inheritance system. This research uses a type of qualitative research with a descriptive survey approach, namely research that is completely focused on the object being studied and describes it in detail. The results of this research show that the complete form of the Bima Sultanate keris tatarapang consists of three main components, namely uru (hilt), lapi (sheath) and bila (blade). The entire blade of the Tatarapang keris is all wavy, some have pamor and some also have no pamor. The symbolic meaning of the Tatarapang keris can be viewed from the shape aspect, material color aspect and placement aspect. Confirmed meanings in the form aspect include decorative shapes, curved blade shapes and prestige shapes. Meanwhile, the meaning of the Tatarapang keris in terms of material color includes gold material and gemstone material. Then, from the placement aspect, it includes the position of the Bima ornamental motif on the keris handle. All the aspects mentioned have certain meanings and symbols. Apart from that, the function of the Tatarapang keris is broadly grouped into three basic functions, namely technical function, social function and religious function. The technical function was used as a stabbing weapon, the social function of the Tatarapang keris was used as a marker of position status among Sultanate officials, then for the religious function the Tatarapang keris was more likely to be used as a religious ceremonial tool. Regarding the inheritance system, the Tatarapang keris uses three types of inheritance systems, namely a closed inheritance system through blood ties, an open inheritance system through the recommendation route and a collective inheritance system.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the effectiveness of visual art learning through the implementation of the Project-Based Learning (PjBL) model in enhancing students' interest in creating artworks. This research employs Classroom Action Research (CAR) methodology conducted at SMA Negeri 9 Makassar. The results show that the application of the PjBL model is highly effective in fostering students' interest in creating artworks. PjBL proves to be a learning model that aligns with the characteristics, needs, and learning styles of students. This model teaches students to collaborate, take responsibility, and work independently to complete their projects. Additionally, the study highlights a supporting learning strategy to enhance students' interest in creating artworks, namely the implementation of an outing class learning strategy. This strategy is essentially understood as learning conducted outside the classroom. Students benefit greatly from the actualization of the outing class strategy, including fostering a love for nature and their environment, stimulating their creativity and imagination, and increasing their motivation through direct interaction with nature. In this study, the author assigned a project task to create educational posters. Through this project task, students gained meaningful learning experiences and the values of the Pancasila student profile, such as collaboration, independence, teamwork, discipline, and the spirit of mutual cooperation.
