Abstract

Keikutsertaan komunitas atau institusi masyarakat dalam pengentasan masalah sosial merupakan fenomena yang telah umum terjadi, terlebih saat kasus yang tengah diperhatikan sejalan dengan nilai-nilai yang diperjuangkan oleh komunitas terkait. Salah satunya seperti yang dilakukan oleh Pusat Pendidikan Warga Negara Indonesia (PPWNI) dalam pengentasan kasus lemahnya pemenuhan hak pendidikan bagi anak Pekerja Migran Indonesia, terutama bagi para Pekerja Migran ilegal. Berangkat dari keadaan tersebut, penelitian ini bermaksud untuk secara deskriptif membahas mengenai peran PPWNI dalam mewujudkan hak pendidikan anak pekerja migran ilegal asal Indonesia di Klang, Malaysia. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data yaitu observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Kajian ini menggunakan konsep EFA (Education for All) dan menggambarkan PPWNI sebagai institusi penyedia pendidikan alternatif yang berperan penting dalam permasalahan ini yang dapat dilihat dari langkah yang dilakukan PPWNI dalam mewujudkan hak pendidikan anak Indonesia di Klang. Mulai dari pendaftaran yang mudah hingga biaya sekolah yang terjangkau, sesuai dengan indikator kinerja pemenuhan hak pendidikan anak.

Abstract

This paper focuses on the challenges and strategies of Islamic education in Indonesia facing ASEAN Com­munity in 2015. Using qualitative approach the writer finds that Islamic education in Indon­e­sia has encountered a serious number of problems. The majority of Islamic boarding schools (pesantren) are still run in traditional ways (salafi). In addition, the majority of  the school leaders do not posses higher education background. Similarly, higher education level has also dealt with another problematic matter in whichunder graduate­students are dominant with 93% compare to graduate students with only 7%. These phenomena would be serious problem for Islamic education in Indonesia facing 2015 ASEAN Com­munity. The question is whether Indonesian Muslims are able to compete with other ASEAN member countries, such as Singapore, Malaysia, and Thailand. Another challenge is that the shifting paradigm from the traditional society to the secular-materialistic one. In this context, therefore, the Islamic education in Indonesia is urged to play its pivotal role.

Abstract

There are two focus problems in this research. Which are: a). How does the securitization process of Muslim immigrant issues in the United States. b). What is the impact on criminal law? Donald Trump?In analyzing Donald Trump's foreign policy, researchers using foreign policy analysis from William D. Coplin that shares domestic and international factors, as well as the characteristics and nature of policymakers. In terms of domestic factors, it is found that the issue of Muslim immigrants in securitization becomes a security threat. The decline in economic and military capabilities also appears in this domestic factor. From the international side, emerging new US competitors, namely China. The rise of China's economic and military dimensions also lies behind this international factor. Domestic factors and international factors combined with Donald Trump's personality and character as an entrepreneur, have arrogant, narcissistic, overcommited and tend to be conservative. In this case the formulation of US foreign decisions about Restriction of immigrant muslim.
