Abstract

One of the causes of death that is quite high in the world is cancer. Cervical cancer or cervical cancer is a malignancy that occurs from the cells of the cervix. Cervical cancer is one of the gynecological cancers that can be prevented by making early detection efforts, namely a fairly high prevalence in the community, long disease development, and specific examination techniques have been found, and there are effective treatments. The number of cancer patients in the world in 2020 reached 19.3 million cases, the most suffered were breast cancer as much as 11.7 percent, then lung cancer 11.4 percent, colon or rectal cancer 10 percent and cervical cancer 7.3 percent. The number of cervical cancer patients in Indonesia is 36,633 cases, the second largest number after breast cancer. The main cause of cervical cancer is not known with certainty but more often due to Human Papilloma Virus (HPV) infection. The type of research used in this study is descriptive analytic with Cross Sectional design which aims to determine the relationship between knowledge and attitudes with interest in HPV vaccination in the Susukan Area, East Jakarta. The results showed that the level of knowledge and attitude towards HPV vaccination was quite good

Abstract

One of the impacts that occurs when young children are addicted to gadgets can be disruption to the child's growth and development. The World Health Organization (WHO) reports that 5-25% of preschool children suffer from developmental disorders. Gadgets make it easier for children to get access to information media and technology, so that children become lazy about moving and doing activities. They prefer to sit and enjoy the world inside the gadget. A situation like this will certainly affect the child's development, both in terms of physical, motor, psychological and social aspects of the child. Aimed study to determine the relationship between gadget use and development in pre-school children. The research design used was quantitative analytical observational with a cross sectional approach. The population used in this research was the students of Bina Putera Kindergarten, East Jakarta, totaling 42 children, sampling was carried out using total sampling. The instruments used in this research were the gadget intensity measurement questionnaire and the KPSP questionnaire. The statistical test in this research is chi-square. As a result of the research that has been carried out, it is known that 23 respondents (54.8%) had medium category gadget use, causing the development of the doubtful category for 25 respondents (59.6%). Data obtained from statistical results using the chi square test shows p-value = (0.016) < (0.05). There is a relationship between the use of gadgets and the development of pre-school children at Bina Putera Kindergarten, East Jakarta in 2024.

Abstract

The use of contraception aims to fulfill everyone's reproductive rights, by helping to plan when and how many children they want and prevent unwanted pregnancies. The proper use of contraceptives can also reduce the risk of maternal and infant mortality. This study aims to determine the relationship between socio-demographic factors and contraceptive selection. The design of this study is quantitative with a cross sectional study approach. The sample in this study was all women of childbearing age who were sexually active, sampling using the purposive sampling technique totaled 99 people. Data were obtained by interviews using questionnaires. The results showed that there was a significant relationship between age (p=0.022) and education level (p=0.015) and there was no relationship between occupation (p=0.167) and long-term contraceptive selection. Health service institutions must further improve the quality of counseling and long-term contraceptive services, so that they can attract the interest of the public in particular
