Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan soft skills peserrta didik melalui penerapan pendekatan Culturally Responsive Teaching Penelitian dilakukan dengan metode kualitatif dengan pengumpulan data melalui observasi, reflektif jurnal, Penelitian CRT mengaitkan konsep kimia dengan latar belakang budaya serta karakteristik peserta didik. Pembelajaran CRT salah satunya dilakukan dengan menggunakan artikel yang dikaitkan dengan kebudayaan atau kehidupan peserta didik sehari-hari. Teknik analisis data menggunakan teknik yang dikemukakan oleh Miles dan Huberman, yaitu : reduksi data, penyajian data serta verifikasi dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan CRT dapat diterapkan dengan menggunakan aspek yang dikemukakan oleh Hernandez, yaitu content integration, facilitating knowledge construction, prejudice reduction, social justice dan academic development Pembelajaran dengan pendekatan CRT dapat mengembangkan soft skills siswa. Soft skills yang muncul yaitu bekerja sama, peduli lingkungan, berpikir kritis, kesadaran sosial dan budaya (empati komunikasi, bertanggung jawab, disiplin dan peduli sosial), rasa ingin tahu, kepemimpinan, dan cinta tanah air. Sehingga kesimpulan dari penelitian ini yaitu pendekatan Culturally Responsive Teaching dapat mengembangkan soft skills siswa yang sejalan dengan pemngembangan Kurikulum merdeka Abstract This study aims to develop students' soft skills through the application of the Culturally Responsive Teaching approach. The research was conducted using qualitative methods by collecting data through observation, reflective journals, CRT research linking chemistry concepts with cultural backgrounds and student characteristics. CRT learning is one of them done by using articles that are related to the culture or everyday life of students. Data analysis techniques use techniques proposed by Miles and Huberman, namely: data reduction, data presentation as well as verification and drawing conclusions. The results of the study show that the C RT approach can be applied using the aspects proposed by Hernandez, namely content integration, facilitating knowledge construction, prejudice reduction, social justice and academic development. Learning with the CRT approach can develop students' soft skills. The emerging soft skills are working together, caring for the environment, critical thinking, social and cultural awareness (communication empathy, responsibility, discipline and social care), curiosity, leadership, and love for the motherland. So the conclusion of this study is that the Culturally Responsive Teaching approach can develop students' soft skills which are in line with the development of the independent curriculum
