Abstract

Catfish (Clarias gariepinus) is the main commodity and prima donna in the freshwater fish market which also generates significant sales in the market. Data from the Directorate General of Aquaculture from 2009 to 2013 shows an increase in consumption of catfish in Indonesia. From these data it can be seen that there is an economic potential from the needs of catfish in the market. To support meeting the needs of catfish, it is necessary to make efforts to increase catfish production, one of which is by increasing the work efficiency of catfish farming and monitoring water quality. Feeding automatically using a microcontroller is one way to increase work efficiency. This effort is realized in a design of an automatic catfish feeding device whose operating method uses the Internet of Things (IoT) concept to adjust the opening and closing of the feed door. The feeding algorithm or program is stored in the microcontroller (NodeMCU esp8266) as the control unit. The results of the application of the tool show that in terms of quality, automatic fish feeders can improve efficiency in feeding fish. In this case, the farmer's workload can be reduced for feeding activities. It is hoped that reducing the burden and working hours of farmers will provide opportunities for other productive activities for farmers.

Abstract

Stunting is a condition that disrupts a child's growth and development, leading to a discrepancy between their height and age. Indonesia is among the countries still grappling with this issue. Based on observational data collected during field visits to Jelbuk Village, Jember City, the researchers found that a majority of toddlers that live in the village are categorized as experiencing stunting. Consequently, the researchers organized counseling sessions and motor skills screening activities for children. The primary objective of these activities is to educate parents about stunting and how important to monitor children's development as they grow. The screening of children's development involves the use of the Pre-Developmental Screening Questionnaire (KPSP), consisting of 9-10 questions assessing a child's developmental milestones. From the screening activities using the Developmental Pre-Screening Questionnaire, the following results were obtained: out of 25 toddlers who attended the counseling, 6 were identified with developmental deviations, 4 were considered doubtful, and 15 were developing appropriately

Abstract

The economic industry is experiencing a new era in all aspects. The digital era has replaced the conventional era in the economic industry. The economic industry is experiencing changing times, including in terms of marketing. The digital marketing era that is starting to develop requires economic players to change and keep up with the times. MSME economic actors in Bagon Village are no exception, the 023 Collaborative KKN Group, which is aware of the changes in the industrial economic era, invites MSME actors in Bagon Village to modernize the economy. Modernization of the MSME economy in Bagon Village includes the implementation of digital marketing for micro businesses. This work program was designed based on the results of a survey by KKN-K Group 023 students who directly observed MSME actors in Bagon Village. Therefore, KKN-K Group 023 students invited Bagon Village MSMEs to take part in this work program through training and elaboration of work programs related to digital marketing including product branding, creating e-commerce accounts, and promotion on social media. Not only that, the output produced from this activity can also have a positive impact on Bagon Village MSMEs and also MSME products that are the target of the activity work program

Abstract

Selection of outstanding students is an essential process in education to ensure that students with high achievements receive appropriate recognition and guidance. However, this process often suffers from subjectivity and the absence of a structured decision-making system. This study aims to develop an objective and accountable decision support model by integrating the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) and Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) methods. The AHP method is used to determine the weight of each selection criterion, while the TOPSIS method is used to rank students based on their proximity to the ideal solution. The study involved 10 student candidates and assessed them based on 6 criteria, including academic performance, discipline, extracurricular activities, and religious values. The results show that the integrated AHP-TOPSIS model successfully identifies students with the highest preference values as the most outstanding, while those with lower values are recommended for further coaching. The model demonstrates its effectiveness in supporting accurate, data-driven student selection at MIMA 37 Sunan Kalijogo Ambulu.

Abstract

The purpose of this activity is to improve the efficiency of feed provision in the goat and chicken farming business of Kampung Unggul IAARD (KUB) through the manufacture and application of the Chopper machine. The activity was carried out in the Real Work Lecture (KKN) program in East Kasiyan Village, Puger District, Jember Regency. The implementation method consists of observation, design and design, implementation, and evaluation. The resulting Chopper machine has a production capacity of ±250 kg/hour with a smoother and uniform 1-2 cm shredding result. Trials showed that the time of chopping 8.5 kg of feed, which previously required ±30 minutes manually, was reduced to ±10 minutes with the Chopper machine. This result has an impact on increasing time and effort efficiency, better feed quality, and increased livestock productivity. In addition, training on the use and maintenance of machines also strengthens partners' independence in operating appropriate technology in a sustainable manner.
