Abstract

Software Modeling is a scientific discipline for studying forms of software modeling that are used as part of the software development stages in a structured and object-oriented manner. This software engineering modeling is presented in Requirements Analysis and described using the Unified Modeling Language (UML) method. UML (Unified Modeling Language) is a visual modeling method used as a means of designing object-oriented systems. UML diagrams that are often used are Use Case Diagrams, Activity Diagrams, Sequence Diagrams, Class Diagrams, Statemachine Diagrams and Component Diagrams. There are several applications that support UML creation, one of which is Draw.io. Draw.io is a website specifically designed for depicting UML diagrams online. It has a very responsive display and is integrated with Google's file storage service, namely Google Drive, so draw.io is an alternative for creating UML diagrams in a shorter time. On this basis, in the Community Service (PkM) program activities on this occasion, UML creation activities were carried out using the draw.io application and assistance in using UML in analyzing needs is one of the right solutions for solving problems in order to expand knowledge, simplify and improve the quality of education. and will overcome problems, time and socio-economic

Abstract

Expert systems are computer-based systems that use knowledge, facts, and reasoning techniques to solve problems that usually can only be solved by an expert in a particular field. The purpose of making an expert system for diagnosing damage to Android cellphones is to provide knowledge and information in repairing Android cellphones based on the type and characteristics of the damage that has occurred. The method used in this study is to use the forward chaining method, which aims to determine the type of damage experienced. The input needed is to choose a choice of questions regarding the symptoms that occur. The result of using the forward chaining method is the output solution in repairing damage to Android cellphones. And an expert system for damage to Android cellphones can help novice users or technicians to be able to find out precisely about the damage experienced by Android cellphones based on a selection of damage symptoms, so that repairs can be carried out quickly and precisely.

Abstract

The large number of computer users who do not have sufficient knowledge about the initial handling of hardware damage results in many computer users or an institution spending a lot of money just to repair damage that occurs to computer hardware. Therefore, this expert system application was created to assist computer users in making an initial diagnosis of a computer hardware damage experienced along with solutions to overcome the damage. The process of developing this expert system uses the knowledge method with data collection techniques used, namely interviews and observation. While the inference method used in the development of this expert system uses the forward chaining method. The application used in the development of this expert system uses the AppSheet application.

Abstract

This community service activity aimed to enhance students' technical skills in database management using XAMPP, an open-source platform that integrates Apache, MySQL, PHP, and phpMyAdmin. The program was implemented through a hands-on training approach based on experiential learning, allowing participants to practice installation, configuration, and database management independently. The results showed a significant improvement in students' understanding of database concepts and their ability to operate XAMPP effectively. Beyond technical competencies, the program also fostered behavioral changes, increased technological awareness, and the emergence of local leaders among the participants. This initiative is expected to contribute to the development of a more adaptive and collaborative learning culture in response to advancements in information technology.
