Abstract

Large and excessive use of electricity, especially for lighting, is also a problem in itself, namely the large expenditure on electricity bills. For this reason, the public is encouraged to use energy-saving lighting such as LED lights or the use of solar panels. Residents want sufficient lighting in public facility areas. Community service activities are carried out at the Babatan Pilang RT Housing Complex. 002 RW. 005, where residents expect assistance from the team to provide education on effective ways to overcome large electricity costs in order to save energy. Apart from that, it will also be realized in the physical form of installing garden lights based on the use of solar panels to remain energy efficient. So that from the results of counseling and fulfillment of garden lights, residents can understand and understand how to save money by getting to know the types of energy-saving lights such as solar panel lights. In terms of park functions, solar panel lights can be shared by residents even if they are used at night.

Abstract

Optimal budget absorption in a region requires streamlined solutions. One such solution is simplifying the budget submission process through technology-based approaches. This study utilizes the SDLC methodology to create a durable application for Public Housing, Settlement Areas, and Human Settlement Offices, meeting their requirement for an effective budget submission tool. The SDLC method allows for continuous evaluation and development according to agency requirements. The outcome is APPA, a Budget Absorption Notification Application designed for the Public Housing, Settlement Areas, and Human Settlements Office in Jember. This application has helped to ensure that the budget approval process is not a sync point in achieving project deadlines. One of the aims of this research was to develop a technology-driven solution that could be implemented to increase optimal regional absorption which is expected can facilitate and accelerate budget execution and public service delivery more prettily than ever.

Abstract

Autism is a type of mental health disorder that is 80% caused by heredity, and environmental influences cause the rest. People with autism tend to be unable to concentrate and look at the other person when interacting. Since the age of toddlers, people with autism have a shallow response to the surrounding environment. In addition, people with autism also find it very difficult to recognize someone's expression, even though facial expressions or facial expressions are one way that can be used to recognize someone's emotions. In addition, facial expressions indirectly reveal the contents of a person's thoughts. To overcome this, the author wants to build a face expression recognition model to help people with autism recognize someone's facial expressions. The primary purpose of this research is to help people with autism socialize and recognize the facial expressions of the people around them. This face expression recognition model was built by applying Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) intelligence and using the Tensorflow library and the Keras API. The dataset used in this study is a collection of faces from all over the world. In this research and model development process, the output display of the detection of facial expressions is in the form of diagrams and descriptions of the expressions that a person is experiencing.

Abstract

Cultivating an entrepreneurial spirit within the community is essential for business resilience. This can be fostered through activities such as independent food and horticultural production. By learning cultivation techniques, community members can reduce their dependence on purchased food. The primary challenge being addressed is food security, particularly the threat of price inflation and scarcity of raw materials during extended dry seasons. Effective seed management is a crucial strategy to overcome this issue. However, this strategy requires adequate facilities. To address this need, a community service initiative was implemented using an assistance method. This project proposes the establishment of a screen house in the Babatan Pilang RT 002/RW 005 housing complex. This facility aims to simplify the seed sowing process for residents before transplantation to open fields, thereby supporting sustainable local cultivation.
