Abstract

Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi konsep pendidikan dalam perspektif Imam Syatibi berdasarkan karya-karyanya, Al-Muwafaqat dan Al-I'tisham. Fokus utama penelitian adalah bagaimana pemikiran Syatibi terkait maqasid syariah dan pewarisan sunnah yang autentik dapat diterapkan dalam sistem pendidikan modern. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan hermeneutik dan studi literatur, penelitian ini menemukan bahwa pendidikan Islam menurut Imam Syatibi tidak hanya bertujuan untuk mentransfer ilmu, tetapi juga membentuk individu secara holistik, mencakup aspek spiritual, intelektual, dan moral. Konsep maqasid syariah dalam Al-Muwafaqat relevan untuk menciptakan pendidikan yang fleksibel dan kontekstual, sedangkan Al-I'tisham memberikan dasar untuk menjaga kemurnian tradisi keilmuan Islam.

Abstract

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the strategy of integrating Islamic studies and Arabic language curricula in strengthening Arabic language proficiency and religious literacy at Ma’had Al Imarat Bandung. The research employed a qualitative method with a case study approach. Data were collected through direct classroom observations, in-depth interviews with administrators and educators, and curriculum document analysis. The findings reveal that the integration of Islamic studies and Arabic language curricula is implemented through a thematic approach, where Arabic language materials are contextualized within Islamic teachings. This strategy creates significant synergy in enhancing students’ Arabic language skills while simultaneously deepening their understanding of Islamic values comprehensively. This study contributes to the field of Islamic education by offering an effective and applicable model of curriculum integration. The implications suggest that strengthening language proficiency and religious literacy through integrated curricula can serve as a reference for curriculum development in other Islamic educational institutions, supporting the realization of holistic Islamic education goals.

Abstract

This study aims to provide an overview of the effectiveness of implementing the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model in promoting student learning outcomes, particularly in Islamic Religious Education and Moral Education subjects. The study was conducted as a Classroom Action Research (CAR) consisting of two cycles and implemented in class V-B of SDIT Plus Al-Muhsinin, Cangkuang District, Bandung Regency, during the 2024/2025 academic year. The number of students participating in the study was 17. Data collection techniques included observation, documentation, formative tests, and interviews, which were then analyzed using a quantitative and qualitative descriptive approach. Findings from the first cycle indicated that student learning outcomes were still relatively low, with an average score of 67 and a classical completion rate of only 52.94%. Thus, it can be concluded that the PBL model has been proven and can be recommended as an innovative and relevant alternative learning approach to be integrated into educational practices at the elementary school level, particularly by emphasizing teachers as key facilitators in implementing systematic patterns and providing motivational encouragement to students.
