Abstract

The education system has an important role in influencing the growth of a country, especially in developing human resources. The curriculum is one of the main components of education, which is designed to create a conducive learning environment and support the achievement of learning outcomes. In Indonesia, the curriculum is regularly updated to adapt to current developments and maintain the relevance of education. This research aims to analyze the relationship between the pedagogical competence of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers regarding the learning outcomes of the Merdeka Curriculum and the learning outcomes of the Aqidah Akhlak subject. The research was conducted in Sragen, with a population of 165 class VIII students, and a sample of 66 students from class VIII A and B who were selected using a purposive sampling technique. Data was collected through questionnaires to measure students' perceptions of teachers' pedagogical competence and learning outcomes. The research results show that teachers' pedagogical competence is in the medium category, with details of 23.8% low, 59% medium and 15.2% high. Students' Aqidah Moral learning outcomes are also in the medium category, with 20% low, 65% medium, and 15% high. Correlation analysis shows that there is a significant relationship between teacher pedagogical competence and Aqidah Akhlak learning outcomes, with Sig. (2-tailed) of 0.434 for teacher pedagogical competence and 0.00 for learning outcomes, both <0.05. This research provides evidence of a positive correlation between teacher pedagogical competence and student learning outcomes, as well as providing recommendations for improving the quality of learning

Abstract

This research aims to find out: (1) How high are the pedagogical abilities of Islamic education teachers at MTs Muhammadiyah 3 Masaran Sragen; (2) How high are the learning outcomes of the Aqidah and Akhlaq subjects at MTs Muhammadiyah 3 Masaran Sragen; (3) To what extent is there a significant relationship between the teacher's pedagogical abilities and learning outcomes in the Aqidah and Akhlaq subject. This research uses a Quantitative approach with a True Experimental Design research type. The research location was carried out at MTs Muhammadiyah 3, Sragen Regency District and was carried out for approximately 5 months from March to July 2024. The research population was 165 students with a sample size of 66 students. Sampling technique using Simple Random sampling technique. The data collection instruments used were questionnaires and documentation instruments. The analysis technique uses unit analysis techniques before the data is analyzed, a normality test and linearity test are carried out, then a Hypothesis test is carried out with Pearson Product Moment with the help of the SPSS 26 application. The research results show data that: (1) Pedagogical abilities of Islamic education teachers at MTs Muhammadiyah 3 Masaran Sragen are in the medium category with 39 or 59%; (2) the results of learning the Aqidah and Akhlaq subject at MTs Muhammadiyah 3 Masaran Sragen are in the medium category with a total of 43 students or 65%; (3) the relationship between the teacher's pedagogical ability and the learning outcomes of the subject Aqidah Akhlaq with a significance value of 5% shows 0.434 > 0.050 so it can be said that the two variables have a correlation. ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) Seberapa tinggi kemampuan Pedagogik guru PAI di MTs Muhammadiyah 3 Masaran Sragen; (2) Seberapa tinggi hasil pembelajaran mata pelajaran Akidah akhlaq di MTs Muhammadiyah 3 Masaran Sragen; (3) Sejauhmana hubungan yang signifikan antara kemampuan pedagogik guru terhadap hasil pembelajaran mata pelajaran Akidah akhlaq. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis pendekatan Kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian True Eksperimental Design. Tempat penelitian dilaksanakan di di MTs Muhammadiyah 3 Kecamatan Kabupaten Sragen dan dilaksanakan selama Kurang lebih 5 bulan dari bulan Maret sampai Juli 2024. Populasi penelitian adalah para siswa yang berjumlah 165 dengan jumlah sampel 66 siswa. Teknik Pengambilan sampel dengan Teknik Simple Random sampling. Instrumen pengumpulan data yang dipergunakan adalah menggunakan instrumen angket dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis menggunakan teknik analisis unit sebelum data dianalisis maka dilakukan uji normalitas dan uji linieritas, baru dilakukan uji Hipotesis dengan Product Moment Pearson dengan bantuan aplikasi SPSS 26. Hasil Penelitian menunjukkan data bahwa: (1) kemampuan Pedagogik guru PAI di MTs Muhammadiyah 3 Masaran Sragen berada dalam kategori sedang dengan jumlah 39 atau 59%; (2) hasil pembelajaran mata pelajaran Akidah akhlaq di MTs Muhammadiyah 3 Masaran Sragen berada pada kategori sedang dengan jumlah 43 siswa atau 65%; (3) hubungan antara kemampuan pedagogik guru terhadap hasil pembelajaran mata pelajaran Akidah akhlaq dengan nilai signifikasi 5% menunjukkan 0,434 > 0,050 sehingga bisa dikatakan antar kedua variabel memiliki korelasi.
