Abstract

The properties of barium titanate (BaTiO3) nanoparticles synthesized with rambutan leaf extract (Nephelium lappaceum L.) were analyzed using Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR) characterization techniques. Rambutan leaf extract contains bioactive compounds that have the potential to enhance unique physical and chemical properties. This study aims to analyze the properties of the nanoparticles and to characterize the functional groups present in BaTiO3 nanoparticles synthesized using rambutan leaves. The nanoparticle synthesis process involved extraction, followed by the preparation of a BaTiO3 solution and doping. The FTIR spectrum displayed characteristic peaks identifying the presence of functional groups. The results indicated that the region 3500 – 3200 cm-1 corresponds to O–H groups (alcohol and phenolic), the region 1700 – 1600 cm-1 to C=O groups (carbonyl), the region 1600 – 1500 cm-1 to C=C groups (alkene), and the region 1200 – 1000 cm-1 to C–O groups (ether). Each functional group exhibits distinct properties.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis aspek psikoanalisis dalam novel “Hujan” karya Tere Liye, dengan fokus pada karakter utama dan dinamika psikologis yang melatarbelakangi tindakan serta keputusan yang diambil. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan psikoanalisis Sigmund Freud, penelitian ini mengidentifikasi pengaruh pengalaman masa lalu dan trauma emosional terhadap perkembangan karakter. Melalui analisis mendalam terhadap dialog, simbol, dan interaksi antar karakter, ditemukan bahwa karakter utama, yang mengalami kehilangan dan penyesalan, mencerminkan konflik batin yang kompleks. Mekanisme pertahanan seperti penyaluran dan pengalihan emosi menjadi strategi yang digunakan untuk menghadapi kenyataan yang menyakitkan. Selain itu, elemen arketipe Jungian juga terlihat dalam hubungan antar karakter, yang menunjukkan pola-pola universal dalam pengalaman manusia. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa “Hujan” tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai karya fiksi, tetapi juga sebagai refleksi mendalam tentang kondisi psikologis manusia, memberikan wawasan baru dalam pemahaman terhadap tema kehilangan, harapan, dan pencarian jati diri.

Abstract

This study aims to develop Quizizz-based digital teaching materials for poetry learning at SMK Jambi Medan as a solution to students' low interest, motivation, and understanding of poetry material. The study uses the Research and Development (RD) method with the 4D model (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate). During the definition stage, it was found that students had difficulty understanding the intrinsic elements of poetry and were not fully engaged in the learning process due to conventional teaching methods. During the design stage, a prototype of digital teaching materials was developed that combined poetry modules with interactive gamification-based exercises through the Quizizz platform. Expert validation confirmed that these teaching materials were suitable for testing with a few minor improvements. A limited trial involving 34 students showed very positive responses, with 88.2% of students rating learning using Quizizz as more interesting, interactive, and helpful in understanding poetry material effectively. The results of the study show that the integration of gamification technology can increase student engagement and understanding in poetry learning, so it is recommended to be implemented more widely in literature learning in vocational schools.
