Abstract

This Essay presents the result of research about strategic management modification to achieve the excellences at MIN 02 South Tangerang City. From the rresearhc findings, it is derived information that MIN 02 has already implemented strategic management modification in two ways; model modification and substance modification. In the model modification, MIN 02 add the steps spiritualizing human resource amd developing learning organization. Meanwhile in the substance modification, MIN 02 changes strategic management that is empty from spiritual values into spiritual meaning and learning. Based on the management applied, then, it is found that the strategic management model developed in MIN 02 is Spiritual and Learning based Strategic Management.

Abstract

As part of formal educational institutions in Indonesia, madrasah are also required to realize national education goals. Therefore, madrasah must be managed with effective management in order to become superior educational institutions. Management strategy is considered as appropriate management to provide excellent educational institutions. The problem is that there are many management strategy models. It's just that not all of them are suitable for implementation in madrasah. Therefore, an in-depth analysis is needed to determine the appropriate model. The aim of this research is to analyze several management strategy models and determine the appropriate model to be implemented in madrasah. The method used is a qualitative research method in the form of a literature review. The results found that the MSBSP model is a management strategy model that is considered suitable for implementation in madrasah as Islamic educational institutions.

Abstract

AbstrackThis study examines the complexities of educational leadership in the digital era through a comprehensive analysis of six fundamental leadership characteristics, six systematic educational management strategies, and five implementation challenges in Indonesian educational institutions. Through a systematic literature review methodology, the research reveals that successful digital transformation requires leaders to possess integrated competencies encompassing digital vision, comprehensive digital literacy, spiritual foundation, adaptive-innovative capabilities, collaborative skills, and change management expertise. The findings demonstrate that effective implementation depends on systematic management strategies, including comprehensive strategic planning, human resource development, integrated information systems, digital learning optimization, network infrastructure strengthening, and strategic partnership development. Despite facing significant challenges such as digital gaps, human resource readiness, financial constraints, data security, and character value integration, the study shows that multi-stakeholder collaboration-based solutions have proven effective in supporting sustainable digital transformation while maintaining fundamental educational values. The research contributes to theoretical understanding by highlighting the integration of technological, pedagogical, and managerial competencies in digital educational leadership, while providing practical implications for developing contextual digital transformation roadmaps, strengthening digital competencies, and building ethical digital culture through strategic partnerships.Keywords: educational leadership, digital era, educational management, digital literacy, digital transformation
