Abstract

ABSTRACT Psychoeducation is welfare education given to patients with real problems, for example cancer, persistent kidney failure, diabetes mellitus, hypertension. Temporarily, mental problems such as tension, gloom and schizophrenia. Psychoeducational treatment can be carried out by providing data through booklets, flyers, messages or websites and then through direction or wellbeing schooling, either separately or together. This research aims to analyze the effect of psychoeducation therapy on self-esteem in chronic kidney failure. This type of research uses quantitative methods with a quasi- experimental design using a one group pretest post-test design approach. The population in this study were all sufferers who experienced Chronic Kidney Failure at the Royal Prima Hospital. The sample size taken in this research refers to the accidental sampling technique so that the number of samples in this research is 30 samples. The results obtained were that in the pre-test, the majority with low self-esteem were 20 respondents (66.7%), and the minority with high self-esteem were 10 respondents (33.3%). The post test conducted psychoeducation on self-esteem found that the majority had high self- esteem, 24 respondents (80.0%) and the minority with low self-esteem, 6 respondents (20.0%). After carrying out the Wilcoxon test, it was found that the average difference between the pre-test and post-test was 9.50. And the results obtained were a P-value of 0.001. So it can be concluded that there is an influence of family psychoeducation on the self-esteem of chronic kidney failure patients in the hemodialysis room at RSU Royal Prima Medan. Keywords: Psychoeducation, Chronic Kidney Failure, Hemodialysis  ABSTRAK Psikoedukasi merupakan pendidikan kesejahteraan yang diberikan kepada pasien dengan permasalahan nyata, misalnya kanker, gagal ginjal persisten, diabetes melitus, hipertensi. Untuk sementara, masalah mental seperti ketegangan, kesuraman dan skizofrenia. Penanganan psikoedukasi dapat dilakukan dengan memberikan data melalui booklet, flyer, pesan atau website kemudian melalui pengarahan atau wellbeing schooling, baik secara terpisah maupun bersama-sama. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh terapi psikoedukasi terhadap harga diri pada gagal ginjal kronik. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan desain quasi eksperimen dengan pendekatan one group pretest post-test design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh penderita yang mengalami Gagal Ginjal Kronis di RS Royal Prima. Besar sampel yang diambil dalam penelitian ini mengacu pada teknik Accidental Sampling sehingga jumlah sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 30 sampel. Hasil yang diperoleh pada pre-test mayoritas yang memiliki harga diri rendah sebanyak 20 responden (66,7%), dan minoritas yang memiliki harga diri tinggi sebanyak 10 responden (33,3%). Post test yang dilakukan psikoedukasi tentang harga diri didapatkan mayoritas memiliki harga diri tinggi sebanyak 24 responden (80,0%) dan minoritas dengan harga diri rendah sebanyak 6 responden (20,0%). Setelah dilakukan uji Wilcoxon diketahui rata-rata selisih pre-test dan post-test sebesar 9,50. Dan hasil yang diperoleh adalah P-value sebesar 0,001. Jadi dapat disimpulkan terdapat pengaruh psikoedukasi keluarga terhadap harga diri pasien gagal ginjal kronik di ruang hemodialisis RSU Royal Prima Medan. Kata Kunci: Psikoedukasi, Gagal Ginjal Kronik, Hemodialisis
