Abstract

Background: The Covid-19 pandemic has a broad impact on health and society, comorbidities or comorbidities can be a risk factor for covid-19 infection and can worsen the condition of people who have been infected with COVID-19. Aim: The purpose of this study is the relationship between comorbidities and the high mortality rate of Covid-19 patients at the Kepatihan Health Centre, Gresik in 2019-2021. Methods: This study used a cross sectional analytical observational research design, the population in this study were people in the Kepatihan Gresik Health Centre working area who had Covid-19 in 2019-2021, totalling 809 people. Calculated using the slovin formula with a simple random sampling technique, so that the sample size was 75 respondents. The study used secondary data and the analysis used was the chi square test.. Result: The results showed that most of the respondents in this study were respondents with Covid 19 patient deaths having comorbidities, namely 43 respondents or 57.3%, most of the respondents in this study were respondents with no hypertension, namely 55 respondents or 73%, most of the respondents in this study were respondents with no DM, namely 51 respondents or 68%, and most of the respondents in this study were respondents with no Asthma, namely 63 respondents or 84% The conclusion of the study is that there is a relationship between comorbidities and the high mortality rate of Covid-19 patients at Kepatihan Health Centre, Gresik in 2019-2021 because it has a p-value <0.05. Conclusion: Based on the results of the research and discussion in the chapter, it can be concluded that there is a relationship between hypertension, diabetes mellitus (DM), and asthma with cases of death due to Covid-19 at the Gresik District Health Center in 2019-2021.

Abstract

Preeclampsia is a hypertensive condition accompanied by proteinuria in pregnancies of more than 20 weeks of age, caused by vasospasm and endothelial activation and complicates pregnancy conditions that can cause death in the mother, fetus and neonate. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between risk factors for the age of pregnant women and the incidence of preeclampsia. This study used a literature study research method, carried out with data collection activities through literature searches or electronic-based literature reviews using the internet. This study used 25 journals consisting of 17 national journals and 8 international journals. The results showed that there was a relationship between maternal age during pregnancy and the incidence of preeclampsia. and the incidence tends to increase at the age of <20 years and >35 years as a risk factor. So it is necessary to carry out monitoring through adequate and regular Ante Natal Care visits.

Abstract

Latar Belakang: Merokok adalah penyebab utama kematian di seluruh dunia karena kandungan zat adiktif yang menyebabkan berbagai penyakit, termasuk gangguan kehamilan, kadar vitamin rendah, asma, kanker paru-paru, penyakit jantung, stroke, impotensi, tekanan darah tinggi, dan bronkitis. Merokok ada kaitannya dengan kadar glukosa darah yang akan memperburuk resistensi insulin, dan berhenti merokok sering diikuti penurunan kontrol glikemik. Tujuan: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan kebiasaan merokok dengan kadar glukosa pada mahasiswa Fakultas Ilmu Ekonomi dan Bisnis Universitas Wijaya Kusuma Surabaya angkatan 2021-2022. Metode: Metode penelitian menggunakan rancangan penelitian deskriptif analitik dengan pendekatan Cross Sectional. Hasil: Hasil penelitian Golongan usia yang dominan adalah 19 dan 21 tahun, masing-masing sebanyak 15 (34,1%) dan 14 (31,8%) responden. Responden lainnya berusia 20 tahun sebanyak 8 (18,2%) dan 22 tahun sebanyak 7 (15,9%). Mayoritas responden adalah laki-laki (79,6%), sementara perempuan berjumlah 20,5%. Dari total 44 responden, perokok ringan paling banyak dengan 18 orang (40,9%), diikuti perokok berat 15 orang (34,1%), dan perokok sedang 11 orang (25%). Sebagian besar responden yang merupakan perokok ringan (10 mahasiswa, 22,7%) memiliki kadar glukosa darah sewaktu normal. Sebaliknya, sebagian besar perokok berat (13 mahasiswa, 29,5%) memiliki kadar glukosa darah sewaktu tinggi. Kesimpulan: Terdapat peningkatan proporsi kadar glukosa darah tinggi seiring dengan tingkat merokok. Terdapat hubungan antara kebiasaan merokok dan kadar glukosa darah sewaktu.
