Abstract

The purpose of this study is to identify differences in Abnormal Returns and Trading Volume Activity of companies focused on the hospitality sector before and after the G20 Summit in Bali. This study involved 40 companies in the hospitality sector on the IDX. During November 2022, 25 companies in the hospitality sector were selected as samples. The window interval is 12 days (6 days before the event, one day during the event, and 5 days after the event). Abnormal Return, Trading Volume, and stock price (closed price) are secondary data used for the study. Hypothesis testing uses the Wilcoxon signed ranks method and the paired sample t-test method in SPSS version 22. The data that has been tested, shows no difference in Abnormal Return and Trading Volume Activity of hospitality sector companies before and after the G20 Summit in Bali.

Abstract

This study aims to find out whether there is a difference in the stock price of technology industry companies before and after the emergence of news related to the acquisition of goto and Tik tok shop, with a time window of 10 days before and 10 days after the news of the acquisition of goto and Tik tok shop. To find out how much the Indonesian capital market reacted to the event by using stock price indicators. The data used in this study is secondary data with the population of technology industry companies listed on the Indonesian stock exchange. The sampling technique used was the purposive sampling method and was obtained from 29 companies that had trials with a total of 47 samples. From the results of the research, it can be found that the acquisition of GOTO and Tiktok has a negative impact on the stock price of the technology industry.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kesadaran finansial dan love of money terhadap pengelolaan keuangan mahasiswa UKMC di Palembang dengan menggunakan metode kuantitatif dan data primer, yang mana sample yang digunakan adalah mahasiswa akuntansi di Universitas Katolik Musi Charitas. Teknik pengambilan data adalah dengan menggunakan purposive sampling, dengan menyebarkan kuesioner secara langsung kepada responden dan didapatkan 44 responden. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis statistik deskriptif, pengujian instrumen penelitian, pengujian asumsi klasik, dan pengujian hipotesis. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa financial awareness dan love of money berpengaruh terhadap pengelolaan keuangan mahasiswa namun secara parsial kesadaran finansial tidak memiliki pengaruh terhadap pengelolaan keuangan.
